Tombstone:
They need to get rid of some of the crossways along the top of the map because its too easy to move around the map undetected. If you play 4 vs 4 the map is too big and there too many approach angles to defend or watch. The sniper rifle also needs to spawn in a different place....or they need to have two of them. The overshield in the creek should spawn at Blue base because Red base gets a free one, blue should also.
Desolation:
8 players, 2 overshileds, 2 BRs and a rocket launcher is the most redicilous thing ive ever heard for a map that size concidering that you spawn with a freaking SMG. The map is way too open and if host ever gets that BR and is halfway decent with it...youre boned. There needs to be at least 4 BRs on this map, or BR needs to be the default weapon. The sword should be replaced with a sniper.
Agreed about Desolation. I mean the Halo 1 version of the map, Derelict, had 4 pistols and a sniper with CAMO. WTF is with the sword and 2 BRS?
Tombstone is a nice map, but too big for Halo 2, since only person who can own is the person with HOST. The Red base is overpowered since they can access sniper, os, and rockets. Blue has a hard to reach os. Hang 'em High was awesome because of the BALANCED weapon placemnt and camo and rockets. They destroyed it by making all different in tombstone.
