To win a game of Team Slayer, lets say, what role in the game do you think is most important to winning? It could be support, BRing, sniping, etc.

Depends on map.

No Matter the Size, Finish the Fight.

Definitely depends on the map. Of course the fundamentals to Team Slayer are:

- When put against a good team, strengthen yourselves by staying together and giving cover.
- Try to find an area where you alone could give your team mates much sniper support. Such as on Lockout, the BR tower is great for covering for a good grenade tosser and you usually have the upper hand when someone tries to approach from the ramps behind the tower.
- Shotguns are great for close combat. Try to lead your team in the front when you are in narrower areas if you have a close-range weapon like the Shotgun or the Covenant Energy Sword.
- Sometimes taking kills is necessary to save your teammate's life. Make sure if your teammate is on low shields to take out the opponent that is shooting him down. It takes the point that they would receive and you gain one.

Its all a team effort with equal contributions. In Team Slayer, you need to get the power weapons in the hands of those that can use them (rockets to a guy who can get at least 1 kill with each rocket, sniper in the hands of someone who can get more than 4 kills with a fresh sniper, sword to someone who will pressure the enemy but not rush in the middle of them alone thinking he's going to get a killtacular).

In Skirmish, the people who can control/acquire/complete the objectives and those who can effectively cover them. (slayers and objective monkeys) The slayers, unfortunately, will often just end up going for kills instead of trying to specifically kill those who are fighting the "objectivers."

A wise post my friend. Happy to see some players out there understand the difference between slayer and skirmish play styles.
