My goal is not to talk about how great halo 2 is because everyone knows it is the best. However, in being the best and a game purely based around skill, just as any other physical sport, we need to address what needs to be shifted so that the game stays as a purely skill based game in matchmaking.

The levels like Desolation and or Warlock are seriously the worst levels to be playing online. Why they play them so much more then lockout, midship, acension, or any of the other great levels is beyond me. All those round levels do is bring into the effect of the terrible spawn kills that the host then can just rain down all his power on.

There is a reason why you never play foundation anymore and that is because it has no depth. These round levels are just spawn killing levels. Bungie needs to play levels where more stradegy comes into play when moving around the maps: out-thinking and anticipation your partners moves. The levels bungie needs to play more are these levels with depth and places to get lost in; such as acension, lockout, and turf. Why they play a level that is so basic and lacks everything that comes with the skill of moving around a map and outwitting your foe is beyond me.

What levels do you feel like she be left out and what levels should be played more in the ranked society?

I agree with you. Bungie should put Lockout and Ascension way more often.

Lockout and Ascension are my favorite maps and some of the best in the game, why warlock is played so much is beyond me, that map is so boring.

I agree with you 100%. My map of choice, however,was Zanzibar. Remember the days when the Battle Rifle wasn't king, and players actually used the awesome array of weapons to try to infiltrate the base which ended up in epic firefights. I think that these symmetrical maps are pathetic. Zanzibar was the perfect example of how maps should be set up. It took strategy to do things in the game. I suck now on Halo 2 because I'm an older styled Halo 2 player and just can't compete on a map that's symmetrical. Halo 3 showed hope though! Long live my 20 kill games...until...you know, the glitches are found and whatnot.

I LOVE lockout it has such a wide array of game types to play with like its not too small for snipers but not too big for like magnums its perfect.
