It is highly doubtful we will see anything different than what was shown in Australia and everywhere else they were just touring....and anything we get out of the local media is going to be some newspaper/tv coverage from someone who's last game they played was tetris...and it will be the same review we are reading everywhere else on the net. It is not going to provide any more interest in the upper northwest than Halo 3 already is. Its a lame idea with lame motives.

See.... this event hits me as being incredibly pointless. What is the point from a marketing standing for this show? To demonstrate the finer points of Halo 3 with a random group of lucky locals? Seeing as Halo is a hugely popular and globally distributed property I doubt showing it off like this aids the company in anyway, well at least if you take this news post at face value...
Even beyond face value, this is definitely the most retarded thing Bungie has done yet. Yeah. Worse than Tombstone, Backwash, and Derelict. Combined.
If nothing else, it will generate interest in their home city. You can bet it'll get some form of media coverage, if only in the form of written reports. Where's the harm in giving a treat to the fans who practically live in their backyard? In any case, Bungie landed a sexy venue. Who in their right mind would pass up the opportunity to put on an IMAX presentation to promote their new game?
