I've been getting these two places a lot in Team Snipers, and I think it kind of defeats the point. A no-scope then a wack to the chest is not a sniper kill! Neither is fragging someone without a shield! You can totally own the Team Snipers game but still suck against noobs who wack you with their gun at close range!

No I don't think they're too small. I like those maps for Team Snipers actually.

Really? Well, for no-scope practice they serve a slight purpose.

beaver creek and lockout show how quick of a snipe you are, really. Beaver creek has an environment where there are many places to hide, so you need to get high enough to see people but yet still be quick enough to snipe them. there is plenty of long range sniping to be had on beaver creek.

Lockout yes is more of a close range snipe, but i usually just jump and get kills from there.

Fact of the matter is that fragging and no-scoping is a huge part of current Team Sniper maps. Even in Headlong I end up in up close no scope battles. Thats just the way it is in Halo. Just like super bouncers it's a part of the game that you just have to deal with. Find a sensitivity that works for you. I use 5 but I have friends that are just as good if not better on 2 or 7.

Well, personally lock out is my best map <know all super bounces>, it is a little cramped for snipers, but you can get some awesome firefights out of it.
As for beaver creek, its a noob snipers map, a lot of simple hid outs, and stuff like that.

You must not be very good at snipers if you're complaining about people meleeing you in snipers games.

Lockout is bigger than it seems.
Plus its my (and everyones) favorite map.

Moo

They are good for no-scoping and using melees and nades too.

Beaver creek is ok, but lockout they need to fix that damn super bounce, it ruins the balance.
