Man, I'm not trying to piss you off or anything, but come on. You don't like the game, don't come to the forums and whine. Deal with it, or quit. Don't try to get Bungie to fix it. They won't fix these glitches. Plain and simple. It's not becuase they want more money or that they're lazy. It's because they are trying to fix ALL of these things to make Halo 3 a damn good game. They're trying to make it so you guys aren't whining about these EXACT same things later when Halo 3 comes out. Sure, there's gonna be more glitches in Halo 3. They'll probably fix those, because then they'll be worried about keeping you guys LIKING Halo 3 rather than trying to develop Halo 4. I mean honestly. Would you rather they spent this last month before Halo 3 comes out making Halo 2 online better? Or would you rather they make Halo 3 even more kick-ass? My point exactly.

If you want to complain to someone, get all these like minded individuals who 'quit' the game and whine to each other. Not only will you be whining to someone, you'll sympathize with each other. You'll all understand. Honestly, it is POINTLESS to post this kind of crap. Unless your aim is to find people who share your views so you can all whine to each other, then yes, you have a good reason to post this. Otherwise, do everyone who isn't whining a favor, and stop posting topics like this.

EDIT: By the way, about the whole luck thing: Are you kidding me? You want a game that requires NO LUCK? Then you might as well quit gaming. EVERY game requires SOME amount of luck. Ever gotten a lucky stick? A lucky snipe? Get lucky and have 4 people on the other team who are 25's, but they play like 5's? See? You will NEVER have a game that requires NO luck.

Well I play with my friends a lot and most of them suck but they can get some kills in by luck like they make come up behind you while you sniping or whatever the case may be. But just because people are better than you and you spawn in the middle of a Snipers Range, just get the -blam!- outta there, just because you're losing doesn't mean you should quit and whine about it on a Forum just try playing a little bit of Multiplayer against some n00b friends to build your self-esteem back up,Lol thats what I think!

Halo 2 is the game that got me back into gaming. It's almost like a person to me. When you first meet/play this game/person you don't get to see the flaws and shortcomings that are present. You only recognize the fineness and the goods. The more you play the more you learn about the game and realize the aspects that makes this game flawed. As of last night I am officially through with Halo 2 (the multiplayer aspect anyways). The campaign on the other hand Is kinda like the Star Wars series to me in a sense that I will watch all the movies at least 3 times a year till the day I die. I still enjoy the campaign and play it quite often. Although 2's campaign is not as grand or crucial as C.E.'s it remains an integral part of the trilogy. I've met -blam!-s, cool (some times bad as well) kids, beastly type of dominating players, newbies, wierdos, loving, hateful people playing this game. I will most definately run into all of you on the fields of H3. As much as my relationship to Halo 2 MatchMaking is love/hate I will admit that if it wasn't for Halo 3 being released very soon I would still have the H2 MM monkey on my back. Halo 3 is like the new person I just met and want to get to know.......The one that will make me forget about and not regret leaving behind the one I came to know very well. Thanx for the memories.

Halo 2 for life, that is until Halo 3, then Halo 3 for life. Simple.

Sigs just aren't what they used to be.

I quit because Halo 2's multiplayer is a joke. Sort of, at least. I get so pissed when I'm clearly around the corner yet the shots some how mange to hit me. Also, the glitches. (I use them though :-).) It just ruins the gameplay. Not ruin like making it impossible to play, but changing it into something it wasn't meant to be. Basically, I got tire of all of it. I went and moved on to different games and never came back. But, for some reason I keep wanting to put my Halo 2 disc into my Xbox recently. Oh well, at least I know Halo 3 will not be ruled by these misfortunes.

(Also, I like halo 2, I just don't like some of the things in the multiplayer, thats it, it's a great game IMO.)

The reason I quit can be summed up in one word. STUPIDITY. Most people just act stupid when they play with the trash talking, cheating, and all around bad attitudes. I have had enough, so I cut way down on how much I play. Sept. 25th can't come fast enough.

Need I say more?

Really though, host advantage, button glitches, MLG, the annoying/rude population of the XBL community. I know nothing is perfect and Halo 2 is a good game, but after you play and see these things for a while . . . it gets to you.

when has a company EVER redesigned a game? what your asking for is absurd.

halo2 was a huge leap in online gaming. what they did was phenominal.

have you ever played madden and seen a glitch? or how bout a splinter cell game. YES. every game has bugs in it. its not as simple as "click click, DONE".

they are fixing the bugs and redesigning the game. it's called halo3.

well for one, they already fixed gitches on the new maps, the super bouncing, and that one spot on tombstone where you could shoot out but not in, they ovilously no how to fix this stuff, and that took them less than a week to do that for those maps, i think a week outa of bungie's precious time would be worth this game being good again

I go by many names, Shinigami, osiris, thanatos, Ares are but a few. But my name is not important for i am god and i am coming for you.

i am a master of my trade with these two hands i create great works. What is it i do?? ... well lets hope for your sake you never find out.

Like guns?? so do we, join Halo Armory and you can too

i know how you feel mate, i only ever play this game in small sitting if at all for the exact same reasons. cheaters, spawn campers etc. i just cant enjoy the game i used to, not only because of the illegitimate ways people insist on playing the game just so that they can win at any cost but the fact that win or lose the other team (or members on your own team) need to throw insults at the other for no reasons whatsoever.

(i still cant get my head around the calling me a noob when we beat them as surely that just makes them worse)

when i play and get into the post game lobby i generally say good game or have a few good laughs with the other team (if they are inclined to do the same) but these encounters are few and far between. People just cant pay the game for fun and i find myself getting overley frustrated and in a bad mood whenever i play this game which is the reason why i now normally reside on CoD3. i hope that for halo 3 the maturity of gamers will have risen slightly or that the game has better safeguards against cheaters. common halo 3 don't let me down.

Moo

The game itself is fun, but some of the people online are not fun to play with...

Short story from last night:
Our team loses, I say GG to the other team (100% genuine), and they talk -blam!- to me because I used a pp/br once or twice. In case anyone cares, the people talking -blam!- where kids no older and pre-teens. I don't get sucked into it or talk back, but it can get irritating and make you quit for a while.

You really start to wonder about some people and why they act certain ways... I wonder what their parents would think if they heard them talking to others like that.
