I just got my 360 back from repairs because of the 3 red lights.I tried playing halo and i had to install a few updates onto my 360 before even playing it.But when I try to log into xbox live,i get an error message that says my maps are corrupted or something. So i come on here and search.Read a reply saying to erase all your halo 2 data and reinstall everything.I did that exact thing and im still having that error message. What can I do?

Good, friendly, violent fun.

So you erased all the map packs and downloaded them again?

There was a problem with the Blastacular map pack that meant that even if you downloaded it ok the first time, you still had to download it again at no extra cost (no need to delete the existing pack first), so i would try that if i were you, it'll only take a mo.

Otherwise it could be the game disc, what condition is yours in?

I reinstalled the new map pack twice and still gave me the error message. Then i noticed on the map selection screen that Containment and Warlock were missing. So thinking that was the problem,i downloaded them again but it still didn't make a difference.

As for the disk,It aint the cleanest thing cause its pretty scratched. But it was the same before and i still had no problems until now.

Hmmm, then i'm not too sure really, but then i'm not exactly a fountain of knowledge on this particular problem.

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

You’ve said you’ve deleted all your maps and re-installed them but the error still persists, okay. I may have a solution that will fix your problem.

Delete all your Halo 2 maps off your Xbox 360 again:
-Xbox 360 Dashboard
-Systems Tab
-Memory (Hard Drive)
-Games
-Halo2
-Delete all map packs.

Don’t re-download the map packs just yet.

Next, clear your Xbox 360 cache. Clearing it has been known to fix any “hiccups” with your Xbox 360 and may fix your problem. All it simply does is delete your console of all software updates so you’ll have to re-download them after. Click here and follow the instructions, it doesn’t take long.

Lastly, after re-downloading all the software updates as a result of clearing your Xbox cache, start up Halo 2 and re-download all the maps. Everything should be in working order now.

If this doesn’t work, call Xbox Support, 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they’ll help with your problem further.
