Could it be possible that bungie is also implimenting female versions for it's characters? How many girls would like to have a female Spartan to customize and play in multiplayer. I think it would appeal to a broder audience and even open the possibility of clans formed of all gurls who kick some ass. What do you think?

I f you have read the Halo books you would know that there are girl SPARTANs,now for the aliens,I don't care just as long as I get to slice a Grunt's head off with a Covenant Energy Sword.

Well i dont no i know frankie said that elites are hermaphridites so no females marines maybe but atleast in todays females can only be pilots not actual frontline troops however if the covies are on earth i doubt the army will be that sexist as for female spartans no not in MP takes away from equality females are shorter meaning smaller target and people will take advantage of this.

How do you know you haven't been going up against female elites and grunts in Halo1?

Just because they don't possess mammaries and an hourglass figure does not meant they aren't female.

Also, the Mjolnir is a suit of powered armour, placing "breast cavities" on the chest plate only makes it more likely a bullet hit will penetrate. Female spartans would look much like the regular spartans excepting possibly being slimmer and walking different. The thing is, they're trained nearly from birth to be killing machines. They're going to be beefy with an efficient stride most likely indistinguishable from any of the men.

Yeah despite them having this one comment (which makes them seem more human)

" Not much for a girl to work with. " -Kelly talking with Linda about the suit they had to wear. (Inside the Fall of Reach, right before the Spartans went on their first official mission.)

Other than that, they would seem more man-ish as compared to the females you are used to.

Not really indistinguishable - maybe in the Mark V, but in the Mark VI they'd HAVE to add extra space. Also, the VI is much more revealing so I'm pretty sure you'd know if you saw a female Spartan in Halo 2.

Aliens can be male, female, both, or homo-blam!- - I'm an equal oppurtunity killer.

I wouldn't mind having the possibilities... But in the books I believed it stated that you really couldn't tell the difference between Female and Male Spartans when they were in the suits (other then name and voice btw)

If they can get female of the Covenant Species in Halo 2,what differences do you think they'd posses...

Will Female Elites be taller/shorter then male elites? Would they tbe made to think differently towards situations they come across?

Would Master Cheif date a female elite at the end of Halo 2? =P + XD!!!!

Yea obviously some of you missed the point. I'm sure that the female Halo fans would love to be able to select and play as a Customized Spartan. It's only respectful to the female Halo fanbase, and i'm sure Bungie would work it out so that the playing feild is equal between both sex'z.

But partaining to the Covenant species, they might just be hermaphrodites. They could also be cloning themselves at a rapid pace. Who knows, maybe in Halo2 when we visit the covenant homeworld we will get an explanation.

hmmm......
Maybe there are female "aliens" (Covenants) in Halo, but to steal a quote from Gimli It’s true you don’t see many Dwarf women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, haha that they’re often mistaken for Dwarf men. And this, in turn, has given rise to the belief that there are no Dwarf women. And that dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground! So maybe the "aliens" are kinda like that. LOL

Well then yea, I definitely think you should be able to play as a female SPARTAN-II in Halo 2. All they'd have to do is change the voice and modify the MC model a little. Besides, playing as a girl gives me better aim. I do not know why.

Then we could play as Jane-117 and confuse ourselves to death :)
