I recently posted that I was going to have a Halo: CE LAN party (NTSC) in September with seven of my friends and we're going to host it on XB Connect before Halo 3 comes out. 2 XBOXs 8 people in total. As I've said before, I recently started playing Halo:CE on XB Connect because I'm trying to ease the pain until Halo 3 comes out; it's actually really fun that and Halo 2 on Xbox Live has kind of got boring. We're playing mostly Sidewinder, Damnation, and Blood Gulch on CTF and maybe play some TS on Hang Em' High, Chillout, and Damnation. We might play some other maps and gametypes such as TS Rockets on Prisoner and TS or CTF Shotguns on Longest. Anways if you're interested just pm me your username so I can send you more info and add you on my friends list. My username on XBC is TheUsualSuspect and I'll make sure to send you an invite when the game is up. You can also just post it on here. We're looking for at least 2 more peeps; 10 in total. It would be better though if you can bring guests, so we can have more people playing. Obviously, the goal is to play with 16 people, but I doubt that would really happen, seeing how we can only have up to 4 XBOXs connected. Unfortunately when I posted this stuff above, no one messaged me and I had no replies on the thread, so I was wondering for the few that still play Halo:CE online and the ones who are trying to ease the pain until Halo 3 comes, which one have you used and are you at all interested in joining up? And for the few that don't know that you can play Halo:CE online, I would click on the link below that will take you to another thread on this forum for more info.

god

I prefer x-link for many of reasons, and if your interested in playing my tag there is yourgod78 just like it looks. I wish they would just make halo 1 multiplayer a arcade download with matchmaking, and voice. The world would be a better place:)

I'm not sure if you got my message YOUR GOD but I'll post it on here anyway... I know XLink suppports private rooms and 56k, that and I know that all of it's features are free, while XB Connect isn't, but why else do you prefer XLink over XB Connect? I know XB Connect is more popular. Does XLink have the same number of Halo:CE games as XBC? Cause I don't mind switching to XLink and hosting the Halo:CE LAN party on it instead. All I want, my goal is to be playing with 16 players. To tell you the truth I've never played a Halo:CE Lan party with more than 10 people and would like to see that happen where I am playing with 16 players. Even if I'm not playing with 16 players I just want to have fun before I say goodbye to the game when Halo 3 comes out. Hey, you might save me $15 from buying XB Connect PRO...Get back to me. Thanks.

I could maybe get 4 people on a box to play. Would have to be a set date, weekend most likely. What about next weekend? XBConnect only by the way.

k that's cool we're thinking about September 7th or 8th because that's when all my friends that want to play are back...I'll host it on XBC. The only reason I was thinking of hosting it on XLink was because YOUR GOD78 sounded interested in playing with us and we didn't get any responses from any XBC players so yeah. I have Pro so no worries. He said he prefered XLink over XBC, but he never got back to me so w/e. That's a Friday and Saturday and we're probably start playing around 6. Just so everyone is happy with the game, do you have any requests with maps and gametypes other than the ones already mentioned?
