Firstly, try and find which map is corrupted on your Xbox 360. Host a custom game and load each individual map until you get the message, “You have failed to load the map.” This will show you which map is corrupted.
*Note: If you can’t find the map that has an error in it, delete all maps and re-download them.*
Now go to the Xbox 360 dashboard:
-Systems Tab
-Memory (Hard Drive)
-Games
-Halo2
-Select the map pack that contains your corrupted map and delete it.
-Start up Halo 2 and re-download the map pack.
Moreover, if the above doesn’t fix your issue and your error still presists, try clearing your Xbox 360 cache. Clearing it has been known to fix any “hiccups” with your Xbox 360 and may fix your problem. All it simply does is delete your console of all software updates so you’ll have to re-download them after. Click here and follow the instructions, it doesn’t take long.

Whenever I try to start matchmaking, it tells me that there are some maps that I need to get in order to play, and that they may be downloadable. I went to the content download from the Halo 2 Menu, and I have all the map packs.
What's up?
Why can't I get in?
