I was wandering how i would go about getting my team sponserd because My team and I are really good and we live in a small town where we cant really get sponcerd we live in northern arkansas, we would do what ever it takes to get us sponcered, although we live in a small town however there are still halo 2 tournaments here. when halo 3 comes out we will be halo 2 and 3 team and when we get sponcered the 2 members of our team that are currently missing a gamer tag will have one and we can be better and gradually grow. but please if you will get back to me, my email is twisted_demond@hotmail.com. im serious we need this sponcer and it would mean alot to me and my team/..and if any other company sees this post we would love it if you would care to consider sponcering us if bungie cant.

Thanks, Eric Moore

Getting a sponser is just about talking to the right person. You don't have to be a professional to get sponsered (though the top teams do have full sponsers) but it helps to be good.

Your sponser has to have a reason to send you to events. Convince him/her you'll rep the company name and get them publicity and you never know- you just might land one.

It also helps if it's someone you may know locally or through someone.

It honestly sounds like you don't know what the word "sponsor"(correct spelling) means. It means that a company pays the person/group to help advertise their company. Like in NASCAR, the sponsors have their logo painted on the sides of their sponsored person's car.

Unless you really needed help on money for transportation, there wouldn't be any reason that I can think of for a company to sponsor you.

ok, 1st of all i do need a sponsor because i live in a small town and i have 6 other brothers and sisters that live with me. thats a total of 9 people in my house, but i love halo, i love bungie. i play on a daily basis and i do need the money, for T-shirts for the team, for gas to get to the tournament. and for gamer tags that represent my sponsor, so sorry if i had bad spelling, i was in a rush. but please consider me.

Then give me the GT's of you and your teammambers and your teamname as well as any other relevant stats, after ive looked it over ill get you a tryout with one of my other MLG teams and we will see exactly what youve got. Look at it this way, if you get worked at least you know that youre not good before you waste alot of money going. Send me a PM or Friend request if youre interested in the sponsorship.

send me a friend request if you want to get a chance to be sponsored. Get your whole team online and we will see what youve got tonight. If I like what I see, we can discuss money.

Ive seen literally TONS of MLG talent over the last few years, I know potential and skill when I see it. Im going to be very blunt with you when you tryout but youll find that my opinions are well worth it. Im rarely ever wrong when it comes to advice in MLG. Thats not being cocky, thats just the cold, hard truth of it.

This unit may wreck, or explode at any moment.

Sounds fair to me, if you want the sponsorship, you gotta prove your skills.

What exactly would you look for to know if he is good enough? Like would his team have to beat this MLG team u have lined up or just put up a good showing? Also doesnt only like the top 10 teams at an MLG event get in the money? If that was true, wouldnt those expectations be a little high for a team that just gets thrown into the mix? Jus wondering as I am very unfamiliar with how their system works.

You're supposed to capitalize God when used in the phrase "Oh my God."
