Erm...do you mean, your hit percentages, Kill-Death ratio and all that jazz?

Yes, unranked playlists do affect your Bnet stats.

Pretty much the only thing that doesn't affect stats on the website is Arranged Games (aka Custom Games).

Although Demerzel has done a good job of answering this question already, I will add one thing. All it means when it says Unranked is that you do not have levels for that playlist. That means that you might be matched with people of all different skill levels. It doesn't really matter though, as unranked games are (usually) less about winning, and more about having fun.

Right now isn't a very good time to be coming into Halo 2. Halo 3 is coming soon, and alot of the noobs have been washed out. It's mostly the more experienced players, now.

Oh, if only that were true! Play any kind of unranked game and you will see that there are plenty of inexperienced players out there. I always love playing against Joe Schmo and his 3 guests. And..........you're never too late to join the Halo experience. Better late than never. There is definitely a ton for the new guy to learn but there is plenty of time to at least get accustomed to the basics.

Agree with what he says, I mean really if you are new to Halo 2, play the campaign and get all the story, if you are new to Halo period go get Halo 1 if you dont have it beat its campaign then Halo 2's and then i guess play live but for the most part youll get the crap beat out of you, so mainly just wait for Halo 3 beat its storyline then play its multiplayer cause everyone will be new to it as opposed to you playing Halo 2 with people who have played for as long as 2 years 10 months and 14 days.
