i've been playing halo2 online since nov 2004 and it was my first online game, back then clans had a point? i left the game for a while when 360 came out, when i came back cuz halo2 is an awesome game i see clan matches are gone?

Clan games became unpopular, so Bungie removed them. I do not get the point of Clans either.

It was removed because of a few main reasons:

* The high rate of clans that kept being created (teams make one and remake another to simply start from a lower level)
* It had become one of the most cheated gametypes on Halo
* The gametype was replaced with hardcore
