MY LOVE FOR YOU IS LIKE A TRUCK...

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.
* Playing the French leaked version on my modded xbox so I could walk around the maps before everyone else.
* Telling some kid standing in line at Gamestop that you played as an Elite in Halo 2's campaign and him calling me a liar.
* Getting to a level 20 and thinking that it was impossible to get higher than that.
* Before "standby" was a common-place term.
* Seeing a "map pack" map and holding your breathe hoping you weren't going to get modded.
* Playing clanmatch and being kicked out because I wasn't willing to spent enough time playing.
* Playing those exact same people a month later and beating them 1 v. 3
* When it took 8 melees to the back to kill someone on a turret.
* The first auto-update
* Realizing that doing well in college is more important than being good at Halo 2.
* Realizing that there are far too many people that take playing Halo too seriously, and consciously becoming a "casual gamer".
* Being a contractor at MLG D.C. in '05, and thinking that pretty much all these people are idiots.
* When everyone thought it was cool to call someone a "noob" and then Recon outlawing it.
* Getting the words "bad kid" or "bk" added to that outlawed list.
* Telling OC Girl that she'd get banned, and a week later she did.
* "Shishka is a pegboy"
* The Zanzibar forum.
* Trying to download Aleph1 and sucking at using PC controls.
* Joining Body Politic and becoming one of the only (R)'s.
* Meeting some of the mods...before they became mods.
* Meeting more of the mods...after the people I knew became mods.
* Trying to use logic to explain why the M6D is a "broken, unbalanced weapon" and 10 pages of crap later.
* Before annoying kids talked about how glitching is skillful and legit in MM.
* Before "get raped" was the ignorant phrase of idiots.
* Before hearing "I'll kill you in a 1 v. 1 on Middy".
* Before everyone thought quitting was a good idea.
* Before Halo 3 was even announced and trying to quench all the unfounded theories.
* Hearing about the Delta and being sooo happy to get myself and my girlfriend in through the Rule of 3
* Being threatened to be blacklisted by Dmbfan09, and having a 2 hour conversation with him after that.
* Using MSN to get the mods to do their jobs XD
* Asking how you become a moderator...and getting lectured and laughed at.
* Having some of the most fun playing Actionsack.
* Personally threatening NOF when Actionsack got axed instead of THC.
* Seeing Major and Minor Clanmatch go to Clanmatch, and then disappearing altogether. Playing Actionsack and Carnage. Thinking that 6 v. 6 was 1000 times better than BTB. Seeing SWAT be ranked, and then unranked. Seeing BTB become unranked.
* Getting a PM from someone (Jay) making fun of me that he was downloading the F&F Delta. Running to B.net to check to see if I got a PM. Seeing PM from Disembodied Soul. Downloading the Delta was quickly as possible when there were only 800 people on, and that was the high point.
* Getting randomly matched up with Pez on my team and thinking it was hilarious.
* Getting randomly matched up with Pez on my team the next game and threatening the other team if they lost Pez would permaban every single one.
* Getting matched up against KP and Zoomy and them slaughtering us. Telling KP to, "fix your damn game Bungie" and him threatening to banhammer me from the Delta.
* Realizing that the Delta was probably the best experience I'll have in Halo 3 because everyone was thrilled to be playing the game. Every game ended with "Good Game" or "where do you find the shotgun/bubble shield/sniper/etc. on that level" and everyone was glad to help.
* Having to switch to my Alt. GT when the Delta finally went public because people were leaving me negative feedback because I was a Lieutenant 2nd Grade.
* Getting "perfection" medal after "perfection" medal playing rumble training the day the Delta went public.
* Realizing that equipment made Halo better even though I really had my doubts before playing the Delta.
* The "Beta" forum disappeared...thank god.
