You know you are good at GH3 when you can have a "bad" run on through the fire and flames

When i love Halo so much is when i play with my friends. My neighbors would come over alot, and we would play for hours. This game is a blast when you have a friend next to you to yell out "OMG did you see that stick?" or "Killtac, holy -blam!-, beat that!" Before the 360 came out, everyone played Halo 2, and i had some truly amazing times just chilin' with my friends playing all the unique custom games and then pwning some nubs in Team Slayer, and before that in Halo: CE, we would do warthog wars, or see who could get the most kills in singleplayer, arguing who would get the tank and team kill if i didnt, and it was a blast. I think you need to play with a friend to truly appreciate how awesome and fun Halo really is.

That is just me, and some of you might love Halo for completely different reasons, that is why i love it, and you should post why you love it so much, why you practically pee your pants when new Halo 3 information comes out. Go ahead and pour your heart and sole into this.

P.S. Sorry Steve, im kinda new to bnet, and i thought this would be good for the community to discuss, not knowing that the Halo 2 forums were all about what you love about Halo.

Youre right, it is much more fun when youre playing with friends as opposed to by yourself. I play competetively though.

I love it because it actually is a whole story, not just a mindless kill em all game with no reason or background behind it. When I play, I feel like a part of an actual piece of history almost, even though it's fictional history. The multiplayer has given me countless hours of enjoyment, has lead me to friendships with the most awesome people on the planet Midget, "Arbi", Taylor, all my clan guys (love ya, Doogie, SMP, Arrunz, Brodie, Tony...etc...!), and has brought me personal happiness in meeting my husband on Halo 2 XBox Live. Not only that, but Master Chief is HOT! He is the man, always has been, always will be. No other video game has a hero that can hope to get anywhere near him. Halo is the best game/series/story ever conceived :)

I Love Halo Beacause it is just fun over all. Give or take it does get annoying sometimes but over all its prolly the BEST game out there! I mean I have played halo for years and have't gotten tired of it yet... I dont think any xbox or xbox 360 games I can play without getting bored of it after an hour or so!
I like playing split screen games with my friends cuz its just a good time. But i get the same satifaction when I play live with ppl. I mean basically they are right there going "Holy -blam!-!!! I got a triple kill!!!" so yea I love Halo 2 its a good time over all!

Greatest of all time

Both of them have amazing stories. The campaign levels have lots of fun on them. From warthog launching on The Silent cartographer to driving in the warthog hog on Quarantine Zone avoiding the floods with rocket launchers on legendary!. Multiplayer was awesome at both. I remember the old CE days when my friend and I would set up two xbox's in two rooms and have 4 on 4 matches with 6 other friends. Thats where i had one of my greatest games ever. We all decided to play 7v1 against me and I won. Thats when i started to really get into halo because i thought i was really good. Now i realise its easier to win if your 1 person against several but back then i didn't. Then the multiplayer in halo 2. I have met so many awesome people. I've gotten to be a really great player. Its been an amazing time these past 7 years (or whenever Halo:CE came out).

Well I think its mainly because of the fact that most of my friends go on halo and its fun to play with them and also you can talk to them in lobbys and stuff. You can do this on most games but my friends mainly play halo and there is something special about halo 2 in general.

The halo community and their enthusiasm is infectious. If I have a hard day at work, win or lose, I enjoy live games on halo. I'd have to say that among the many things that I enjoy about HALO it's the people I get to play with...as long as they're not cussing or singing or screaming into my headset...

Epic campaign story that centers throughout the life of a Spartan soldier, John, 117. How he was raised to be the finest soldier of the UNSC. The epic battle between Humans, and the Covenant. The mysterious Forerunner objects, the Halo rings, Moniters, everything, adds a fine twist to the epic story. The civil war inside the Covenant infrastructure provides an alternate, more indepth view at their predicament. The unlimited predictability of "What happens next" will keep us all guessing. All the detail and correctly fitting history also makes it all the more realistic. Halo is unlike any other game. It's better with it's storyline. The compatability with it is also great. Forge? Endless possibilities. Multiplayer will make it one of, if not thee, most famous game of all time.

WE LOVE YOU BUNGIE!!!!!

Well said, my friend...well said. Here here!!! *Raises glass in toast of Bungie* May your efforts, dedication and accomplishments be acknowledged and praised by generations to come!
