- Don't move this thread to any other place... plz don't... I wanted it here
- Lastly... plz don't ban me Bungie I love you guyz and the gamez and bought 360 basically for Haloz 3 ='o
I think most of you who are on this forum have played Halo 2 for a while and if you've maybe noticed people during matchmaking they superjump or use button glitches that I will not name here... and they suddenly have an advantage over you??? Well maybe it probably wasn't very honorable or legit and to you they practically cheated right? This did happen to me and I was very mad/poed at these people... soon I realized why not play their game and glitch right? To make the game a fair playing field... so I kept asking people to teach me how to do those certain glitches after the games we played; some called me explicitives and racial slurs, while the few others did actually help me and over time I started to actually like to practice glitching though not very honorable, yet very addicting. I can admit I'm proud of what I've learned that I can get to certain buildings that other people may not be able to do or I could have a little advantage over someone who attacks me first with a certain weapon. I do practice glitches about 3/4 the time I play Halo 2 and hopefully there is nothing wrong with that.
These glitches that I so speak can be that factor that I believe Bungie addressed in their multiplayer vidoc that if you get a 1 v 1 against someone which is very common, is there a way to mix that up? Bungie used some new deployable devices such as the bubble shield, grav lift, etc., but in reality aren't the Halo 2 glitches kinda like that??? There is an argument to be held here because some say....
1) The Halo 2 glitches are not easily "deployed" as the X-Button equipment in Halo 3 right, so that must make them unfair... to a degree I can agree with that because they aren't as easily learned via just pressing X and you have that little advantage of some sorts... and everything I played in the Beta seemed pretty fair, unless... I had the L4Z04R muahahahaha!
2) Others say the Halo 2 glitches are great and fun, plus if you take the time to actually learn them you deserve to use these so called glitches on other people during matchmaking or custom games. They also believe Bungie saw this so that's why they implemented X-Button equip., so everyone could have that little advantage if they found it, because all you have to do is simply press . . . X . . .
I personally believe there should be some glitches maybe that are actually intended like Bungie could implement button combos and such, but maybe they are listed with instructions on how to do them with some bigger ones thrown in so they're fair. Or even maybe Bungie could have a sort of bigger version of just jumping. My main overview is that we can do some glitches like superbouncing, but Bungie would like create a sort of "Tag" that as soon as the person superjumped a marker would appear over the player that players could see and his shield would immediately go down for the ENTIRE game during MM or something. As for Button Glitchez.... I would like to have those, but only certain ones like melee combos not x2 Shot, x3 Shot, etc., and as for the other glitchez you can think about'em. <<< Thinking out loud lol >>>
Anywho both side have great points, some people don't really care, and more over it's all up to Bungie. Still our voices can be heard and ideas are sprouted everyday and sometimes you have that amazing idea that you don't want to get rid of so easily, say that idea here... Plz do, plz vote, post and most of all think about it.

. . . Version 1.5 ( Edit 1 ) . . .
Ok last thread got "Closed", but oMgZ?!??@!%#@%! Did you see how much conversation in the last thread there was and how many people voted. Tons of people responded and voted, can you believe that? Also, my poll and argument god misjudged... again. I don't want Halo 3 to have "New" glitches, just some of the certain old awesome glitches. Also added some more stuff in "Clearing Things Up! + Some Ideas and Thoughts", other than that I did some more editing for you 3nG1i$h freaks lol...
. . . "The Definition of a Glitch" ( Found: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/glitch )
Personally... I believe that maybe my last poll was a little, um... broad. I don't want new glitches that could create a big problem in Halo 3, I just want the old ones that personally some were actually very "misjudged" to be bad and ruined the game. To me they created a very replayable game that added new stratedgy that could of been boring after a period of time. Not saying I used that new stratedgy during MM, but I'm saying it's like seeing something new unfold before your eyes and your like "WTF!?!?!" at first, but you got to learn and adept to those new stratedgies; maybe even learn them for your own like I did.
. . . I do not only care about myself! + Wtf is up with hating me?!?!? . . .
Ok I wouldn't of made a poll if I didn't want your vote on the issue at hand + my ideas and opinions are exactly that, just an opinion NOT the law lol... Ok wow you caught me lmao... I glitch and told you that already, in fact I'll tell you've every glitch I've tried or performed; Superjump, use a lot of button combos from BXR to BFing and everything inbetween, and lastly "Launches" like tank launches, wraith + ppl launches, etc. *Gasps* were you expecting more? I asked what the hell you thought of having past glitches in Halo 3, not why you hate me or your opinion on glitchers.
. . . Standby/Mod . . .
Ok some people think us "glitchers" are included in the bunch called Standbyers/Modders. Let me tell you something Standbying is screwing with your connection during a game and such so you get tremendous lag or a thing called "bLuE sCreEn" which sucks, yes and let's say you were about to score with the opposing team's flag only 2 find out after the sudden blue screen your dead and the flag is back at the opposing team's base. Modding my friends is modifying your Xbox/Xbox 360 or your disc with people crafted "modz" such as; Instant Headshot, Super Speed/Jump, Weapon Modz, etc. Although acceptable during Custom Games you will more than likely get banned from MM if you use it in there. Those will more than likely make you always lose, while "glitching" in general might make you have an advantage, but it's not a for sure thing you will win.
. . . Superjumping . . .
Ok this is what I'm accused of most, and I play Halo 2 a lot still today just from this. I'll show you a quote from Bungie below summarizing it in its simplest form from HERE, and for people who've never grasped the concept I guess is how you would put it. The question and answer I'm about to present to you below was pulled from right outta the named hyperlink just a second ago...
Q
What is NOT considered a bannable offense by Bungie?
A
Quitting a game is not a bannable offense. Having a team-killer on your team sucks, but that's not a bannable offense either. Many people are also aware of the "super jumping" phenomenon that allows players on some maps to jump to extreme heights. We are monitoring this situation for long term impacts to game balance but we are not banning people who do this simply because it's too widespread and is something that's basically built into the map. Anyone can do this if they want to though it is difficult to pull off in many cases. We will continue to monitor the impacts this bug has on our game.
. . . Glitch Abusers VS Victims > Glitching for Leisure . . .
I have noticed that there is a in-grown hatred against people that were killed from glitchers and the people that kill or try anyways, to kill the glitchers. As they are fighting a gigantic battle there are some glitchers that may seem to-good-to-be-true sort to speak, that no1 seems to care what they have to say because first glance tells them "They glitch, hope u getz hammerd by BuNgiE bas-tard! So since they think what they believe is law glitching "has" to be bad. I and many others play Halo most of the time just to glitch in customs with friends to have FUN and that's it. Just so we can have fun, that's it for crying out loud, why can't most of ya'll seeee this!
. . . Bungie didn't put Glitchez in on PuRpOse!
Wtf can't ya'll read and interpret the thread, I know this! It's my belief they put it in the game on purpose! MY BELIEF!!! It doesn't mean it's true omfg...
. . . ( more to come ) . . .
That concludes "Clearing Things Up! + Some Ideas and Thoughts" and I hope you understand better, thx =) ( Also... 480 characters remaining exactly lol! )
