I think an important thing to think about in making a Halo Movie is how to show John AKA(Master Chief), (Spartan-117), In the game they don't show his face for a reason. You just can't alienate the Master Chief. Not knowing exactly what the master chief looks like adds a different feel to the game and I'm sure it would have the same positive influence in a movie if they didn't show his face. And if any one thinks its imposible to have a main character in a movie and not show his face, it can be done you just need to hide the reason for it and make it unnoticeable that you never actually see his face.

Another thing on my mind is, I agree with all you guys that say that basing a movie off of a game has nearly always ended in disaster. They just aren't the greatest movies. But you see Halo has a story, the books. If they made a series of movies, three movies, the first being the fall of reach, the second the truth and reconceliation, and the third the first strike. That would be the coolest. Think, most movies start as books and if you base the movie off the books you can come up with something amazing. If they made a movie of Halo they could even do it like Star wars, Because if you've read the first book, there is a story that comes before the humans even meet of the Covenant. If a good director and the best special effects crew came together they could make the best movie ever. If you get the right actors the right crew it could be a revelutionary movie, just like the Matrix.
