not when you play against people who dont have their head up their ass.

shots hit is the most important stat in the game. more shots, more damage, more recognition
1 v 1 does not mean anything, it is just who can find the other person's back the most

ight, they are not cheap cause double shotin requires skill and a bxr is something that anyone can do. it isn't cheap at all

ight its a glitch but its just another advantage that a person can use if that person can do it. just like the host advantage

yea for the more advance players, using these button combos just adds another way to play the game. its fine and is not cheap. requires skill so it not cheap

if all that people do is bxr i think that is ok because if everyone knows how to do the same thing it is fine.

also if a person doesnt know how to do the bxr or how to double shot that is there fault they should learn. that is the same thing where if a person doesnt know how to use a weapon to the fullest potential in the game. Using the double shot and bxr is using the battle rifle to its fullest potential. just play the game and learn how to use the battle rifle to the fullest

Halo 2 wasn't intended to be button mashing game. It was intended to be a game where strategy, accuracy, wits, and overall determination were to be used to win.

It still is.

Now all that happens is people getting BXR'ed.
Nice exaggeration...

My point is that they were not intended to be in the game, so if someone uses them to kill someone then should it be considered defeating an opponent legitly? I am not saying that they are not widely used, cause most higher end players (30+) tend to use them excessively. Halo 2 wasn't intended to be button mashing game. It was intended to be a game where strategy, accuracy, wits, and overall determination were to be used to win. Now all that happens is people getting BXR'ed and other glitches, like superbouncing.

Too bad relying on button glitches instead of strategy, accuracy, wits, and overall determination will get you no where. The only people who have a problem with button glitches are the ones who suck anyways, most of the higher skill players use them and find no problem with them.

ehhh.... pretty much all the mlgpro gameplay i've seen has a pro bxr'ing or double shooting. double shooting takes practice but the bxr and bxb aren't too hard. they can get you out of tight spots and i don't really think it hurts the game that much. i doubt people that are 30+ only depend on button glitches. i understand bungie didn't intend for it to be in the game but they've been discovered and exploited and in my opinion have now become part of the game. eh but what do i know? i'm not even good at halo 2
