Subject: Is BXR/RRX/BXB cheap?

Honestly, I have played quite a few matches of Halo 2, and I don't face the problem very often. Granted, I don't play it competitively very often, but the community is hardly only using the BXR combo.

Do I think it is cheap? Yes. The same way sniping somebody across the map is cheap. Regardless, a kill is a kill. I don't think people should rely on an accidental glitch to win a match, especially when not everybody even knows about the combination, but I don't see it as a huge problem.

Think about Halo 3, in the Beta, I was a 40, LEGIT. 33 in another playlist. No BXRs, nothing to slow me down cause I was used to playing legit. Every other BXR whore was like, "WHY DUN TEH BXR WORX ANYMOR, IT WUZ L337 MLG PRO?!?!?!?!?!"

Most people who are involved in MLG (which is usually associated with Glitching) and had the Beta were well beyond level 40 as even that was extremely easy...

and dont even get me started with your 33.

I'm not talking about if someone knows how to BXR. I'm talking about how legit is it to exploit a glitch to beat someone? Think about Halo 3, in the Beta, I was a 40, LEGIT. 33 in another playlist. No BXRs, nothing to slow me down cause I was used to playing legit. Every other BXR whore was like, "WHY DUN TEH BXR WORX ANYMOR, IT WUZ L337 MLG PRO?!?!?!?!?!" Okay, maybe that was overexaggerated, but you get my point.

Level and rp in the beta meant nothing. I got a 46 in rumble pit, a 49 in team slayer and a 40 in skirmish. My k/d ratio was over 2.0 and i had over 8000 kills. And i'm one of those guys that you say can't win without bxr/bxb/rrx. The guys who say button glitchers will suck at h3 are wrong. Button glitching alone without good tactics, skill, and teamwork will get you nowhere.

Oh, and i use rrx/bxr/bxb in halo 2. It doesn't mean i will be dumbfounded and suck when i play h3. I instinctively use bxr and bxb and i only doubleshot when i'm down a shot. If i'm down more than one shot i'll toss a nade or run and call him out for a teammate to kill. I don't just go into team training and quadshot noobs and their guests, cuz i don't have to and because they don't even know how to do it. I have knowledge of the maps (nade points, strategies, jumps, etc), aiming, and teamwork. I call out player and weapon locations. The fact that i use bxr/rrx/bxb is not what makes me a better player.

Don't spam.

Button glitches = form of cheating.

Why am I locking this? No cheating discussion is permitted on the forums.
