Hey everyone.

I noticed that some people said that the XBOX LIVE GOLD 12 month subscription only worked on the xbox 360. Is this true? I have Halo 2 for PC lol

I don't want to pay $60, this is why i will be getting it on ebay... I would like to know if the code will be redeemable on the xbox.com website which is linked to my windows live gamertag... Anyone have experience with this? Where can I get the windows live account retail then? Thanks

No. Your LIVE accout is the same across Xbox, Games for Windows, and Zune. To redeem online:

1. Go to Xbox.com and sign in.
2. Go to your gamercard on the site, and click Add/Edit subscriptions
3. Follow the prompts.

Then you will need to download that account to your PC.

1. Start Halo 2.
2. If you're already signed in, sign out.
3. Open the guide (HOME key or Xbox Guide button) and click Sign In.
4. Press or click Y to create a new profile.
5. Select "Recover Gamertag".
6. Sign in the same way you did for Xbox.com.
7. Let your profile download.

Note: You cannot migrate checkpoints from another account.

If you cannot download your profile, it may be because of a network error. Make sure halo2.exe and TCP/UDP port 2424 are allowed.

What it is.

XBL/GFWL are $50 a year if you go to a store and buy a year subscription(the smartest way). Personally i think XBL is better than GFWL because you get more out of it.

How can you get more out of XBL when THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME THING.
