I don't know if I have had one "best" moment over the years on H1. I take alot of pride in making sure that everything that should be killed is killed. Every level, every enemy, even popcorn flood, nothing is left alive that can be planted. I don't avoid fights, I kill by melee whenever I can, and love to stick plasmas onto the heads of my enemy (not always by accident, sometimes I actually manage to get it there on purpose!). One of the "coolest" things I ever did happened on H2. In Delta Halo, when you have gotten the Scorpion to the "Fort" where you can pick up the Envy skull, if you play across the top of the structures you can get into the well area without triggering all of the covie spawns. I had finished polishing off the covies from the original spawn in this area from on top of on of the pillar structures, when 5 grunts spawned in a line off in the distance (apparently alot of spawns happen in a straight line when multiple bogies are spawning). Two strafes from my Battle Rifle took the whole column down, it was a riot! That is the one aspect of H2 that does add an element that H1 is missing, the ability to make more use vertically on the map. With sputnik and less limits on where you can go, H2 does allow you to hunt your enemy from more than just a left/right angle of attack. I still prefer H1, probably always will. I just prefer the more close combat orientation of the original.
