This is a video of the best way to get the IWHBYD Skull he gets 6 warthogs and 14 marines to help him out
Note: I did not do this or am i trying to take credit for it i just thought it was awesome so dont ask but whoever did posted a walkthrough

1 of 5.
The 'IWHBYD' Skull has three parts to it: Making the skull appear, activating the skull (and staying alive) and

listening to the 'rare' chat.
So, check out my video The Ultimate 'IWHBYD' and Save The Sergent'. What does 'Save The Sergent' mean? He is

the guy who says 'I Would Have Been Your Daddy But The Dog Beat Me Over The Fence', and to hear him say that is

realy the aim of this Skull, hence its name.
Note that the Skull only appears 1 in 8 times, so be patient

2 of 5.
If you activate the Skull imeadiatly, you will be teliported down into the courtyard, and every time you go too

far or too high from your start point, you will teliport back.

Then you will have to kill first 1, then 2, up to 7 spec opps Elites (4 head shots to kill each one).

Its hard work. So why not get a little help? You will encounter many Marines on this level and finding how to

keep them alive and contain them is key.

3. of 5.
After going thru the passage way in the Hotel 2 Marines turn up with a Warthog. If you have been doing well, the Marines saved at this point should be 9 including the Sergent. Each time you have Marines, take them back to the court yard in the Warthog and trap them in. There are obvious places where to do this. To stop them running where they want, just block their path with objects. Note this will also stop the enemy advancing, so make it easy to move the blockage.

4 of 5.
As you advance up the beach on foot, more Warthogs and Marines will come to help you. Jump in and take them back to your fort. At some points you will need to use a Warthog. Try to keep it in good nick. By the time you get to the tunnel entrance you should have 3 Warthogs. Head back to the first beach and get the extra Warthog (go look).

5 of 5.
In the tunnel will be 2 more Warthogs with 4 Marines, and an extra 3 Marines near a burned out Warthog. Back at the fort, arrange you blokes and vehicles out as you need. Note that a check point probably will happen, so the more you do before it the less you will have to repaet after it. Now grab the skull and watch the show!

I hadn't seen that video before, but I think it's great! I just wish the quality was a little better. Very creative!
I don't have the patience to pull it off, but I think it would look outstanding in quality HD!
Thanks for the link.

dude, just get the envy skull and be invisible while you go through a checkpoint, immediately restart your system and don't get the envy skull again and you stay invisible through the level, thats what I did and it was hella easy

edit: i have a checkpoint saved with 1 guy left to kill and all I have to do is charge a pp and noob combo him

Good job to the maker of the video, nicely done, and congrats to brandon for making a topic that didn't get flamed. On Bungie.net, that's a feat.

Ninja monkey, if you ever have the envy skull and have to go after that elite to get the skull, he won't be aware of you unless other elites in sniper alley see you. Just thought I'd point that out. And man that was some nice marine work. It's cool to see the team just take on the foes like that. I'll keep it to the easy way though. Any questions about the skull, pm me.
