Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

Wellzen. First, try to type in a correct and organized fashion (this isn't instant messaging, now).

Be sure to read each forum directory for what discussion should take place in it.

And... Read the stickies, I guess. Those threads at the top of the list; they don't move.

Hi! Welcome to b.net heres a thread with a ton of links to get you started - Linkage

EDIT: I forgot to add this - when you post something, look below the box you type your post in, there is a formatting legend that tells you how to add hyperlinks, quotes, etc.

I shall welcome thee with open arms and an open heart.

The two posters prior to me pretty much have the basics covered, if you have any more specific questions, feel free to PM me and I'll answer them to the best of my ability and if I can't, I'll send you to someone who should know.

A thread is what this is - a series of posts under a common subject/title. To view your old posts, look to the box on the right of your avatar and click on 'more posts by this user'.

A thread is a single discussion. This area right here is a thread.
The boxes in which people talk through are posts.
Spam is constant posting of nonsense to clutter up the forums and harass the moderators.
A bump is when someone posts something of absolutely no use to move a thread back to the top of the list.
A troll is someone who intentionally provokes people so they'll fight.
Flaming is insulting others.
Roll your mouse over your avatar to see the "see more posts" link.

If you want to save a thread click on the save thread button in the upper left under the forum banner. Then, if you wish to return to that thread, goto your Profile (click anywhere you see your user name) Select Saved Threads from the menu. Then click on the thread name.

That way you can have easy access to a thread and not have to search the forums to find it.

There's a lot of stuff to customize in the link "welcome [yourname]" link, like a signature, avatar (icon representing your), and displaying info like email and instant messanger (if you choose).

Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

Damn, this community rocks the show!

So nice to see there's a lot of helpful people still participating here on B.net.

Just be glad you didn't make this thread in the Halo 3 forum.

And I'd like to add a welcome to you guitarxhero19, welcome to the ever friendly part of the neighborhood. :)

hi im new and ive never been in a forum b4, so could you guys"show me around"?

Bungie Community: Where people throw out half baked ideas, and then get kicked in the nuts until their thread is locked.

The Flood: Where the short bus school district kids flock to one another like Rosie O'Donell on a Big Mac. If you like He-Man vs. Masterchief threads, AIDS jokes or "you phail" posts, this is the forum for you.

Halo 2: Where people still complain about cheaters, standbying, glitching, superbouncing and the plasma pistol almost three years after Halo 2's release. Also the forum where people ask for their money back on maps they paid $4 for and played over 1,000 matches on.

Halo 3: Where you go if you haven't had your scalding hot water enema for the day.

The Classifieds: Where the ninjas move your "Hey join my uber groovy clan or group called (fill in the blank)" thread, where it will then die from starvation and neglect.

Optimatch: Where people make threads asking why Zombies isn't a ranked playlist.
