I'm no expert so correct me if i'm wrong on this. nVidia is more comaptible(sp?) with Windows and many other basic programs, but ATI is more powerful, and therefore more for hard-core gamers.

Ahh... but nVidia has better development, like the "video card array" set up they are making/made, I don't know much about it though, but I think it's going to be used in a new set of Alienware.

The cards themselves are incredibly similar in performance. This is really more of an argument of which has a better customer service section, which has more perks for buying their card(there were Battlefield 1942 servers exclusively for GeForceFX card series users), and in the case of some of the newer cards, space inside of your computer.

ATi makes good cards, but they don't know how they work. therefore, their drivers suck, and they don't friken work. just go with nvidia. there know what the're doing
