Time for the '-blam!- -blam!-' comment.

No, replace it.

Nope. Better switch it out.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

Minimum, as in will barely play, if it plays at all, and must be on the lowest settings. Period. So, switch.

I'm tall, white, and male. Therefore I am automatically the bad guy.

This is the strangest thing to ever happen to me while playing Halo.

I had a 6150 LE and trust me, it looks like crap. I then upgraded to a 8600 and works and looks perfect.

Get a 6600gt. It will look pretty good. Those are probably 80-90 bucks nowadays for agp. It needs a 350w powersupply minimum so you might have to upgrade. Search newegg for a $20-$40 power supply, take the 12v rail (if theres two 12v, then add them together) and multiply by 12. If it equals 350 or more, buy it, unless the reviews for it are too bad. I'm also assuming you're talking about halo 1 pc.

My tower came with the same integrated video card, taking 256MB of my 2 GB of ram, it wasn't even able to run Halo 1 well even at the lowest setting. Definitely upgrade to a real video card, at least to a Geforce 7600GT or something similar/better when you have a chance.

West Side Gamers - it is what it is.

um it will run, but damn your gunna be setting all your graphics settings to the lowest. i have a nvidia geforce 7600 gt and the game crashes after like 1 or 2 minutes of game play, wich i still need to figure out. i have a idea for you this is what i did.

go to www.canyourunit.com and go down to halo 2 and click can you run it. and allow it to get information about you hardware. then it will say how well you can run it, and what it says you should have to run the game. like i said i have a geforce 7600gt and it and i just pass minimall requirments. but go to it and try it out.

Is that video card good enough for Halo 2?

I also heard that somebody made a hacked version of Halo 2 that will work on Windows XP. The only difference is that supposedly DirectX 10 "Only works on Vista" becuase of the superiority of DirectX 10 over the previous version, 9. Somebody got in the DirectX 10 code and compared it to 9 and there was only one (1) line of code different. That one line basically allows Halo 2 to install / run. I think that person may have made a mod that you can download.

Here is a link to a site that I found that made DirectX 10 for Windows XP: http://www.technospot.net/blogs/download-directx-10-for-windo ws-xp-from-alky-project/

Sorry, Halo 2 Vista does not support "Playing with good frames per second", nor does it support "Free good online capabilities"
