On the matter of Spartan-I:
If Deja did in fact specifically say that the original Spartans of Greece where Spartan-I, then I submit, and just apologize for not remembering. I think though, if I recall correctly that all she says were that the FIRST SPARTANS were the ones from Greece, not necessarily the Spartan-I. I dunno, I just theorize that if there were in fact Spartan-IIs there should be an originating group of Spartan-Is, not of originating Ancient Greece. Who knows, I could be wrong, I don't concede, but I do admit I'm not 100% positive.
Secondly on the matter of 343 Guilty Spark and the Forerunner:
I bring back to my earlier post about the idea of the reclaimer and "our history." I don't believe that the Forerunner are directly descending of humans, unless there's some sort of time warp that Bungie does in the Halo timeline which they haven't released yet. (Something about this reminds me of the Marathon games...). Anyway, I think though that the Forerunner were a humanoid race (2 legs, 2 arms, 1 head), and that John is mistaken to be a reclaimer due not to his outer looks but his genetic makeup. Think about it, John's body chemistry was far more advanced then others thanks to bioengineering (which goes again into my theory of Mobuto and his being a Spartan-I). Maybe his body chemistry reminded 343 GS of a Forerunner. Let's also point out that after being ALONE for 100,000 years, his sanity has slipped quite exponentially. He takes on a very human intelligence in that his sanity lies within balance. When he says that he reclaimed all of "our lost history" from the databanks of the Pillar of Autumn, it doesnt necessarily mean WE'RE the Forerunner, it just means that he mistook us to be Forerunner.
On Dr. Halsey;
Yea, lately I'm leaning more and more to her going to a Halo ring herself, somethings to note: Why would she bring Kelly? Of course because Kelly is a Spartan, she's the only person that could accomplish this task. "Kelly's not battle ready" someone said- actually she was pretty fine, and didn't feel like getting that last shot that Dr. Halsey had because she felt so fine. In addition, anything that hasn't been fixed could be fixed by Dr. Halsey by the time they get to their destination.
Those are my thoughts.
