I for one remember some where on the net or here in fact some one saying that windows vista was made for both gamers and non-gamers, but mostly gamers, M$ is trying to get PC gaming to be populor, but people are just being stupid.

Doesn't matter, my computer died, so I'm going to console gaming full time now.

good for you, like any of us gives a -blam!-, I'm getting a 360, and I'm still going to play on the computer, and I bet you don't even give a -blam!- about it too.

Watch who you're flaming.

Everyone knows Linux gaming is full of incompatibilities and bugs, and there's not much in the way of Mac Gaming. Vista is in fact for gamers considering that it has the Direct X 10 API which enables Crysis to look like it does. Do you think Windows XP can run DX10 games the way Vista can?

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

It will most likely be released on the 7th day of the 7th month in 7 years. Cuz Bungie seems to have a number fetish....

Sorry to take it off topic, but I'm actually not looking forward to Crysis. The gamplay, from the vidoes I've seen, doesn't seem like it's going to be very satisfying : ( I'm not necessarily worried about performance, if they build the engine efficiently I should be able to run it on 128021024. I played Bioshock on max settings, no framerate stutters even on my two year old system with an x1900/4800+
With that, HL2 Ep2, and maybe a little team fortress and CS I'm set on the PC till UT3. As for my darker console side, there is of course Halo 3 and mass effect.

As for the PC version of Halo 3, I find it kinda gross that we didn't get a simultaneous launch. COME ON Bungie! Perhaps the game I've waited for the most in my entire life, and I have to play it with a damn controller. We all know that developers can make excellent cross-platform games (BIOSHOCK *cough*) so why not you guys? I'm disappointed, and as Agememnon said, I'm tired of M$ contracting the ports out for a scapegoat. Do it right, in the name of all that is holy, if you do so.
And cross-platform play without autoaim for a damn controller would be nice.

LIVE ASPIRA BOLAS YOU LITTLE PENDEJOS GO GROW SOME BOLAS!!!!!!
Ahem.
Anyways, do you know how fun it is to drive a warthog with a mouse?????ALOT!!!
also waiting for Vienna is not a good idea, i mean look what happened to Halo 2 Vista!*ahem* controller friendly UI, extremely low sales, Complaints that Live is -blam!-*ahem*

...How can you say no to adjusting speed on your nanosuit and then dashing across the landscape to punch some fool in the face and send him flying like Chuck Norris?

It would be good, if they actually did a good job. Meaning much better graphics. More exclusive stuff. And PATCHES!

dude, I agree with Master Kim 250% on this, Crysis's game play looks fun, you can kill the trees, and can kill just about any thing! and the nanosuit that in game at any point in time stop, and set it so it helps you run faster, makes you stronger, so on and so forth, I'm failing to see how any of that can cause the game play to be lacking in any thing satisfying. I for one would love to make a tree fall on some one and kill them, or to make a house fall on them.

Edit | just saw this.

oh, your old computer was a mac, then I'm sorry, I take back what I said, and yea vista is better then XP, when M$ releases SP1 (next year).

I don't think anyone plays Halo 1 on PC and not a whole lot for Halo 2. You would probably need some decent hardware to run Halo 3 for a PC.

System Requirments: Halo 3
Required Free Hard Drive Space: 20 gigs
Processor: 4.0 GHz
Video Card: 1.2 GB with Direct X 11 Supported.

lol

  • 09.01.2007 1:53 PM PDT

I don't know, I think half the computers you can buy from walmart are better then an 360, I don't think it'd take up that much room, DVDs don't hold that much memery yet, they'd have to make it so it'd fit on a DVD for the "install and play" part, that and the "no DVD/CD needed to play" part artemis fowl your idea of Halo 3 PC's system requirments are off by a long shot. maybe you should look at some of the games that have some things that Halo 3 has GFX wize and see how much space they take up, and maybe you should look at how many gigs is on a DVD that you can buy from a store for computer data.

If they fudge the map editor like they did in Halo 2 Vista then there's no point in making a pc version... It would be the only thing to look forward to as Halo 3 is already at pc-like resolutions.

  • 09.01.2007 7:07 PM PDT

The only big problem is that they released Halo 2 PC to late and only for vista. They could have did a PC version long time ago. Now its an old shooter on a new OS. To make it better they could have reduxed it and made it DX 10.

You're stupid and ignorant, not to say lacking on facts to support at all at your above statement. Seriously, Halo PC plays a lot, and I mean A LOT. Yeah, I understand Halo 2 has nobody playing in it, and I hope it stays that way...

3 Words... Flight Simulator X

  • 09.02.2007 5:55 AM PDT

Oh yea, one of the Flight sims that took more then just one CD/DVD to install, just like FEAR, but wait how many CD/DVDs did it take to install Half Life 2? 1, if they make it so it has the "install and play" like Halo 2 Vista did then they'll need one DVD, not 5. And Halo 3 only comes with 1 DVD, not 2, not 3, not even 5, just one DVD.

It's cool and all, but it just seems simplistic I guess. How many times can you run up on an isolated village with koreans?
I need to download farcry and see if I like the style that crytek does, gameplay wise. If I like it, I'm probably gonna get crysis.

FarCry was an awesome game dood. Especially the Xbox version with the superpowers. It's fun sneaking up on some poor guy in the jungle then ripping his throat out.
