I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Only thing I didn't like was the quality/filter used on the recording. It sounded almost like a mild version of one of the effects used on Elite characters were used on your voices... I'm not sure if that is due to equipment limitations or what... but it was sometimes distracting to me.

Was very informative and very fun to listen to though... despite a somewhat short show given the delay :( (we forgive you).

Anyhow, here's some carried over questions from the last thread:

Question: Can you please explain how each set of Traits in a gametype will interact? For example, the King of the Hill gametype you posted about was said to have Hill Traits that make players Invincible. Let's say that another Hill Trait was Disabled Weapon Pick-up. To contrast, a Leader Trait is Enabled Weapon-Pickup. When the Leader stands in the Hill, which one would ultimately be in effect?

Question: Has the trip mine seen any changes since the Beta? Aside from some people thinking it was too obvious, I know a lot of forumers, including myself, were a little put off by the delayed reaction time it had versus the instant reaction time it had in the original multiplayer Vidoc.

Question: Are Luke and Frankie still considering putting together an HDTV buyer's guide for us?

Also:

Podcast Segment Suggestion: With this Podcast episode being entirely geared toward Forge, I think now would be a good time to suggest a (slightly) interactive little segment for the podcast. With what we know about Forge, players have started to make their own Gametype/Maptype variants
in threads, and even in B.net groups. I think it would be very entertaining and interesting if the Bungie Podcast crew would glance through some of these, and pick 2 or 3 of them to try out in a game, and then review. Perhaps this could be a way to give us suggestions on how to improve our ideas for balance or overall enjoyment, and even hint us at what Bungie may be looking for in the Bungie Recommends.

What Bungie is probably looking for in Bungie Recommends is simply which maptypes are the most popular with the most people as one thing, but also it might be which is the most creative, the most rediculous (rocket hogs on a close-range map, for example), and what they think will draw the largest crowd.
On a different note, will Bungie ever make the save films available as video downloads for PC users?

Very informative, thanks Bungie. Looking forward to when the Bungie Podcast Trio of Infinite Win (Ske7ch, lukems, and Frankie) are all in one Podcast together.

GT: FatalxXxFrenzy -Check out my fileshare!! Map titled "Lagoon"

this thing sounds pretty cool. I'll use it for some custom variants but thats about it. So, what i wanna know is will you be able to become the monitor in some matchmaking. I hope not, especially if its ranked. I might be ok with a some unranked though. I can see it now. Ultimate Gulch Wars. Two teams of 8 anyone can become the monitor. Let the fight begin.

But since they specifically said "scoped pistol," does this mean there's an unscoped varient available too?

Another good one, keep it up! I was very excited to hear that the Hornet will be in MP, though it may be rarely seen. I think that's probably a smart choice anyway, because yes, it's something different to the banshee, but I can see how it could be way too powerful. Get a couple guys with snipes and lasers on the sides ans you're set. One thing I was confused about was this "Infection" mode. Are the zombies bots or real people, because it sounded like the Zombies were like placable bots on the map in Forge or something, at least that was how it sounded to me...

The best, just got better!

Forge sounds cool and all but.....My BIGGEST question is say you go into Forge and make a make and adjust where items and what-not, "Will you be able to NOT have the monitor in the game so that Items/guns/boxes DON'T get replaced or taken away for the match??" Because I would like to be able make a new (item wise) map and game type and not have people adjust it while in play or is it a Turn ON/OFF feature? If you can not turn it off it will be a HUGE downfall of Halo 3 and people will go back to play Halo CE on XBConnect. I hope this won't be the case.

Forge sounds like exactly what will keep halo fun to come back to and the game to beat for many years to come. I love Bungie for their hard work to not just make a cash cow but a sweet game that we will all very much enjoy despite the fact that it's just never enough for some people. I love bungie! they really have their stuff put together well. horay! but now I'm dying waiting the remaining month for the game to be released. oh and I guess my only peve is why tease us by making that helmet just not quite big enoug to hollow out and wear?

While you are in forge you can pop into monitor mode whenever you want. Once you're satisfied with your map you can save it, exit forge and play a regular custom game on it. Just like you would in "Halo CE on XBConnect." Put away you big black box!
