Remember when they said you would be able to put your gun away and sprint extra fast for a short while? Well I was just wondering what ever happend to that? They didnt talk about it at all at E3 and I didnt see it in any of the videos. Did they take it out or is it only in single player? Whats the deal?

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

At E3 the participants only had a limited period of time to play. Bungie would not want to show them to many new things that they would have to learn. Also Zanzibar is such a small level that sprinting is not needed.

It was an unfinished build of the game. Not everything was implemented yet. Tons of stuff was still missing. Including sprinting.

I hope there are some good hiding places to use this feature with... maybe extremely slow health regeneration or mini-medpaks in your suit?

Where are you guys getting your info? Im pretty sure your just telling me your opionions but your saying it as if it were fact. Thats how rumors get started. If you want to say what you think then say, "I think" before. Anyway in one of the old updates they said they were done with the sprinting transition animations and they were finished with it. I dont care how small a map is going faster then other people is always a good thing.

Where are we getting our info? All the different sites like halo.bungie.org and all of the media sites that visited E3 this year. That's where. We also get the info from magazines that had interviews with Bungie.

So where are you getting your info?

I have read all of the magazines and I watched the E3 videos and I go to HBO like 30 times a day and they never said anything about sprtinting. They never said that it was left out. I know that the demo they were playing was a work in progress but It looked to me that it was basicly done. I think if your going to show off all your cool new stuff at E3 you would show off sprinting. I mean they wouldnt just leave out duel wielding or bording because its awesome and everyone wanted to see it. Why would they leave out sprinting? Has anyone heard them talk about it in the last few months?

They also did not show melee combos because they have not been balanced yet. -- Fact from Bungie

They may also be working on balancing out sprinting for similar reasons. -- My oppinion.

There are lots of things they did not show and there reasons for not showing them very from not being finished to not giving everthing away.
