A lot of people are complaining about the fact that the single player campaign ends quite abruptly. Well, the first Halo ended almost in the same fashion, so what's the problem!! It sets the table for Halo 3!!

I think people wanted to end the game with the Master Chief, not with The Arbiter. That's why they didn't like the ending that much.

As far as I'm concerned, I loved the ending!! And as the story grew closer to the end, I got to like The Arbiter a lot. He has an aura of a Paladin, a noble warrior. In the Halo mythos, he's like the Star Trek Klingon, but with a lot more class. And let's say that it's far cooler to have a cloaking device than a little flashlight!!!

I could see an entire game with The Arbiter as its protagonist. He has the charisma!!

Hear this: The story could be an important mission he had when he was younger, before Halo, with other species to fight!!!

Message to Bungie: This was an amazing gaming experience, to play as both the Master Chief and The Arbiter. The story was very good, the game was awesome and the music was incredible. If you continue to make games like these, you'll make history!!!!

(Spoilers, but hey if you haven't beat the campaign yet then that is kind of sad)

I don't have a problem with playing with the arbiter. I actually enjoyed it very much. I really like the ending of Halo 2, I just think that it came too abruptly. You can't tell me that you didn't know that blowing up the Pillar of Autumn was going to end the game on Halo 1. Halo 1's story felt ready to conclude when the credits rolled. Halo2 just needed another level. Had they given us a level with the chief wraping things up then the credits wouldn't have been such a surprise when they roll. What I would have liked is a level where the MC clears out the forerunner ship and takes control of it. If they had done a level like that where near the end, the ship comes out of slipspace near earth it would have been great. The chief could hear the radio chatter in the background moving things to an exciting conclusion. Had that been the way they did it then the ending as it is would have been perfect.

I loved the fact that you play as the arbiter. But I did not like the way ist ended so soon plus this one was SHORTER than Halo:CE I couldn't beileive it . It took me three days of non stop playing to beath CE but only one "sick" day home form school to beat H2.

I tottaly agree with Ender I wanted that one more level of MC butt Kicking before it ended and the first one in no way ended abruptly the y had giant explosions and kabooms. but I do not think that was the reall ending I think bungie is trying to push live so they are making downloadable campaign levels to add on.

I have been making posts to beg for that, but I don't know if I agree with you that they are going to do it. Frankie has stated that there are no plans on the drawing board for that at the moment. Maybe they are trying to keep it a secret, but I tend to feel resigned to the fact that it is not likely to happen. I don't even have live right now, but I definately would get live if they had an expansion for the campaign available for download.

I think the level you wanted will be in Halo 3.

Just a question for both of you: If there's an Halo 3 game, will you buy it the first day it will come out? If you do so, then Bungie will have achieved its objective, make you want it more.

It's just very good business and marketing. That's why they'll continue to make millions, and I got no problems with that!!
