Yes, I will say right now, I like Halo 2. But, as most things turn out, when there is something good, there is some one there to ruin it. I'm really mad about this now. I've thought about it for awhile, and it just keeps building up.

Super bouncing. Yes, the basic annoyance of this forum. Let me tell you a little story. Once a guy super bounced on top of Ascension big tower. My friend showed me how to do it the previous day, but like an honest player, I wasn't gonna use it. I saw him up there, Team Snipers, so, I used the super bounce to get up there, I killed him, and jumped right down after I killed him. Some may not believe me, but that's fine, it was that way. So in the post game lobby, a player from the other team told the other three teammates to report me for super jumping, which people say that's cheating. So they did and left. I got mad, because the only kill I got while I was up there was the guy who was sniping us. I think that is a good reason for super bouncing.

Button-Pressing Patterns. The BxR and Double Shot glitches are a killer. They make the game standards go down. Now people don't need to use strategies, they just push buttons. You may say that button pressing is a strategy. It is not, it is a pattern used to gain a significant advantage over another opponent. Major League Gamers who play Halo often use these button techniques, and that is why they are so good.

Messages in Matchmaking. Alright, so I will wait on the menu for like 10 minutes waiting for an invite into a party. No one sends me one so I just go into matchmaking and play. Right as some one starts to come up on my radar I get a Party Invite and get assassinated. I don't get why we needed messages on the radar, and I kinda wish Bungie would have realized that before producing the game. However, it was a mistake, and it is understandable, so it is not that big of a deal.

Weapon stealing. Well, I know how to pick a weapon up. So do not accuse me of being a Funny Machinima Noob. But I will stand over a weapon for 2 seconds pressing and/or holding X and then some one will jump over the weapon and take it. I will get mad, because usually they can't use the weapon very well.

Friendly Fire / Suicide Penalties in Matchmaking. Alright seriously here. Why is friendly fire and suicides aloud in ranked. It has no add to the game except de-leveling. Take it out, or atleast take out the point loss penalty so the people who want to level up can.

Spawn Killers. People who just wait for spawns to snipe down for kills suck. I can understand it happening a little bit but I keep spawning in the exact same spot and get spawn killed way too much. I suggest doing something like they do on Lost Planet, with the blue aurora protection from spawn killers. It works perfectly.

The "Noob" Combination. Most of us know this as the Plasma Pistol and Battle Rifle. Something needs to be done about the plasma pistol destroying the shields. I saw this one team with two people who dual wielded the Plasma Pistols and the other two had Battle Rifles and we just got destroyed. It really is not fair.

So I think a second Halo 2 should be released. For the Xbox 360, so patches can be released. It's the exact same, graphics and weapons, but fixing the super bouncing, out of map glitches, button combos, and message alert. It shouldn't be that hard for them to do, they did create the most popular series of video games ever. I mean it might be a little out of line asking for a new halo 2, since most will play Halo 3. But I might play some Halo 2 Multiplayer for a little old school and I'd rather not have my experience ruined by glitchers.

Don't flame me, I don't care about flaming. It bounces off of me.

Don't take that to personally. I just like using that. Also, they're not going to release a new Halo 2. They have Halo 3 which is better than Halo 2 in every way, shape, and form. It's not worth it for Bungie to re-release Halo 2 when they just made Halo 3. I know where you're coming from, but it's just not worth it. The Beta was a million times better than Halo 2. Once you play Halo 3, you'll never go back to Halo 2.

This one I'd have to disagree with you. Yes the pros whom participate in the MLG tournaments do use button glitches, it's not what makes them good. They are good due to all the practice, exellent communication/team work, and advanced knowledge of the game. The use button glitches because MLG allows it. If MLG happened to ban button glitches from their tournaments, the players would follow suite.

Ahh, yes. This one is a bich. I can't tell you how many times I've been killed do to people due to friends/clan members messaging me.

I know from personal experience how much better the beta was. But maybe I wanna play with the old weapons, the old game. The way Halo 2 was meant to be played.

If you died to players with Dual-plasma pistols, then you truly suck. Stop complaining about button glitches if you super bounce, hypocrite.

The button things and super jumping I agree with you on... however, all the other things on that list are completely fair (excluding the message...but what ever that doesn't really matter at all) .
Weapon stealing? Pretty much, that just sucks to be you if you can't pick up a weapon, the situation you described has never happened to me.
Friendly fire/suicide penalties really don't matter either, its just a game, if someone wants to go through the trouble (and pointlessness) of leveling down, be my guest!
Spawn killers... they aren't trying to spawn kill (most of them). Well over 50% of spawn kills are just because they saw you spawn... why should they let you get away alive?
Noob combos can always be countered. The plasma pistol doesn't have the tracking range (or great enough speed) to render you defenseless in every situation.

If you can not read correctly then you truly suck. I do not super jump. It was a counter super jump. Get it right. I jumped down after I got up there, so do not accuse me without the proper evidence. Just because you are illiterate, do not get mad at me because you are dumb. Go to first grade, they teach you to read there.

The use of the word fair makes your point lost. Fair is a word used in a situation where the user wishes to get special treatment over others, to have an advantage others won't, which can break down to cheating.

1. Your first point about super bouncing is valid. Only real way to prevent it is to not let the other team get the sniper, and if they do, watch the super jump points.

2. Most players who use button glitches are already good with or without them. You should stop blaming your losses on them.

3. You shouldn't be relying on your radar so much if the instant a message pops up you get assassinated.

4. Yes, this happened to me a bunch of times before. The solution I've found is to just wait for them to die with the weapon, since they eventually will, or until they use all the ammo.

5. Yeah this sucks, the only way to prevent this though is to not die at all. Pretty much every team skirmish game can be won by spawn killing the other team.

6. Stop complaining about the noob combo, you can use it too, and it's not that hard to beat.

Out of all these "Problems" you didn't even address host advantage, which leads me to believe you don't even have a strong understanding of the game in the first place.

I don't have a problem with host. It is not always on one person, so it has a cycle of fairness. I am not going to use a noob combo, I don't need to. I am not blaming my losses on them. But usually when I lose the people were using button combos.

Every game only has one host.

When you use the back button way to see who's host, and you can't tell, that's not because of multiple hosts, its because those players have a really quick connection to the host with little latency. It doesn't mean they're host.

"I am not going to use a noob combo, I don't need to." Sure, you don't need to, but its foolish not too. I don't need to use Sniper, but I'll damn sure pick it up when I come across it. the noob combo is a power weapon, you should control it.

I doubt people at your level can double shot effectively. Against BXR all you have to do is either back up or just jump around them and stuff.
Host gives a greater advantage than any of the stuff you listed. If its something like Team Slayer on Tombstone and the other team has host, and the host is somewhat decent, the team with host should win.

At my level? I don't play ranked anymore. I play mainly BTB and Swat. It is good head shot practice. I got 21 head snipes last game, I was shocked. And ranks did get reset. Most higher levels like I used to be do not play ranked. What is the point with Halo 3 less than a month away from us. We like to have fun in unranked.

I know there is only one host, I am just saying it rotates between games.

My point exactly. Even if you did play ranked you'd be around the 20s and people aren't really good at double shotting around that level. And since you play mainly Swat and BTB now, most of the stuff you listed shouldn't be that big of a deal since you're playing newbs and guests most of the time.

No. High levels go there to play low levels. The games are less intense and it is much more fun and relaxing. Just because they are a guest does not mean they suck. I go to my friends house and I am second controller, and I do not suck.

If you didn't suck then you wouldn't have made this topic complaining about everything. The only valid points you made are super bouncing and being spawn killed. And those can be solved if you win the first battle and get the power weapons first.
