Subject: Halo 2's funeral: favorite moments

This would be a good time to point out that the US Government seriously did consider nuking the moon during the Cold War as a show of force. Project A119.

"A large explosion on the Terminator line would put the sun behind the mushroom cloud, making the explosion visible with the naked eye from Earth."

Then the US decided they'd just send in Neil Armstrong to land on it. Neil Armstrong - the one man on the earth that was considered a suitable replacement for a nuclear missile.

Oops sorry, thought I was in Halo 2 forum. Mods, could you please move this?

Lol just cause the campaign was nothing to talk about much, doesn't mean that the whole game deserves to go down a couple hundred feet. I say burry it at an angle. Campaign, the head, goes down the deepest.

Good bye Halo 2 i will never forget you.

  • 08.30.2007 2:06 PM PDT

hmm i guess that would be on coagulation on live i spent the whole game in a tank and racked up 40 kills...that was pretty cool.

FYI even though halo 3 is coming out dont mean that people still wont play halo 2, people still play halo 1, hell now people have more of a reason to play 2, play all three at once try and start AND finish the fight in one night

Trust me, Halo 2 will still be alive for the next few months, I might go on and off of Halo 2 and 3 to see alot of differences.

Cross-beaver creek needler kill on the sniper. Of course, we will have even more fun moments with Halo 3.

I dont think i'll ever go back into Halo 2. Maybe if i had to give my Halo 3 copy a rest. Anyway, i have a lot of favorite moments, but this is my recent one:

On Coagulation, i no-scoped a guy out of a ghost and the ghost splattered another guy right in front of it. I got a double kill. I'd have to say that was my best double kill ever.

my best moment in the game, it was team slayer and at the start all my teamates quit. after the whole match time expired the final score was 30-35, yes i lost but I took on four guys and nearly tied them....afterwards we had a good talk.

One of my funner moments in Halo 2 was on coagulation.
I got 40 kills (25 of them without dying) and 2 deaths on Big team battle with my cousin.
It helped that I had host and was in the back seat of a gauss hog with my cousin's expert driving skills.
Host + Gauss hog = fun for me.

Also, I am glad to be rid of significant host advantage.
In the Halo 3 Beta, I couldnt see host advantage.

only eat one small snack a week to save money on food and just have water toilet and lights to save money thats my plan

Though the Earth is dying we must enrich her body, for the ground we tread is hφly.

I'm a lion in a world where everybody's content with being cats.

Mine would probably not be a kill, betrayal,or death but just the community halo 2 has a few really cool people that make up for all the T-bagging players. Halo 2 I've gone through 4 years of my life with you and it was a great 4 years.

Ultra laggy rocket games in BTB. Am I the only one who found those to be ridiculously fun? Everything was a surprise, and you could watch someone just walking and then suddenly, with no explosion whatsoever, go flying into the air.

You do realize how many people will say "my no-scope across burial mounds" right?

Either that or my grenade bounce stick across coag.

In other words, people will be claiming more no-scopes.

My favorite moment is by far. No-scoping Shishka, on Zanzibar, 1 flag CTF. Offense.
It was myself, Abe froman, And shishka. Between the rocket ammo and the shotgun spot.
I was being flanked from both sides, as they were both on the Bungie team.
I jumped up onto that large green crate, then jumped up again and caught shishka right in the face.
But before I landed, I got a face full of shotgun death.
:P
