So your saying that you are willing to go the distance and break rules of major companies, just to get on one...and I mean ONE DAY EARLY?!

See, this is what I don't get at all! Why would you want to go on a day early? I know that some people will say, "Ah well I want to get my ranks early and pwned noobz", "I want to Spoil people's dream, but showing the ending of Halo 3 because I want to ruin people's lives" and "So I have a better change of winning by exploring the maps before anyone else does!". What is the point?! Eventually, they will catch up to ya and learn better than you even if you had an extra day to prepared. Did you forget that no one will be in Matchmaking because no one but you will have the game!?

I think it's becasue he doesn't want the storyline ruined by spoilers...

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Actually, I just feel like getting the game early. Why shouldn't I? I mean, Bungie and MS don't care because they aren't doing anything to stop consumers from getting the game early, so why not get it? They'd only punish the retailer, and that's assuming they find out, which they never would. I'll just buy a regular copy a couple days early, go home and play through campaign, and then go on the actual release and sell that regular copy when I pick up my Legendary copy. I mean it's easy, I get the game a couple days early and then I just go exchange it for Legendary one on the actual release date.

Everything works out fine. All the people that are the true fans will be outside waiting for hours on the "release" date and I'll be sitting at home playing it for days prior. Then I might just upload the ending on Youtube and then go tell everyone that is waiting around for the midnight releases the ending of the game. I figure I can probably ruin the game for hundreds if not thousands of people in person and countless others on the internet. Why not, there is nothing stopping me. "Release" dates are like the Easter Bunny and Santa, they only restrain you if you believe in them.

~"A Grunt divided against itself cannot stand!"

I wonder if people who get the game early, and play online (MP, ranked, unranked) matches, will they will get paired up with the "Important* Bungie people in matches? or maybe the Bungie officials will only be playing custom matches that other members they want, can join?

Just wondering.
