==++...After a bit of searching i found some info, no need to reply to this one ...++==

NOTE: i'm a complete halo noob, and i have only played online 4 times, i appolagise if this has been discussed before, but i need your help!

Is there anyway to use microphones to chat whilst playing halo, i hate having to tye but sometimes i feel the need to tell people stuff like"theres a sniper over there who just shot me in the head!" but it takes long to type, so he'll just shoot me again before people realise.

cheers,
Sgt Bray.

Well not sure if you know this. But i heard of a program that connects to a person or people directly. So you have to know the people your about to play with to actually be ready to talk. Its best use for clans or a group of friends. I havent tryed it, but remember thats just what ive heard.

hope that helps...

Heyyo,

Heh, intruiging how this new "voice chat" question is popping up a lot now eh? I wonder why gearbox got lazy and left it out unlike all their other HL projects...

As for mics? teamspeak's great, but you need other people in there for it to be useful, and most people in Halo don't even use it. Xfire's an IM program that utilitizes the power of teamspeak to quickly join TS servers, and many game servers that your friends are in by a push of a button, very nice, and for a lot of games, it's even gotta built in messaging system, so unlike msn messenger, you can just hit Scrollock+X and it'll pop up the message screen, soo cool. :)
