Halo 3 is better than Reach

Xbox Live: iSupremacyX
Xbox Connect: Cold_Achilles
XFire: redmeany
Steam: coldachilles

well since i use my xbox 360 controller for my 360, and halo 2 vista, i wanted to try it out with halo pc. well halo pc (1), when you move around, the controller seems to stick. like i set up everything the same as halo 1 for xbox controlls, and i find on the pc, the controller's thumbstick (to walk) if i wasn't even moving it, my spartan would move, and i could see that it wasn't fully over to the side to walk like halo for xbox. it was just off the middle because the controller was getting loose. and now i can barley stay on the map because it just want's to move it's own way. if there was like a fix i could download and put in the directory or something that would be great, or an update to 360 controller?

Anybody that plays with a controller on the pc = Epic Fail.

to the topic creator: does this problem happen in multiplayer AND single player? It should work fine in single player, but for multiplayer you're stuck with the crappy way it is.

Yes, I agree with t3heford2, when you play single player with the controller you will( or should) have no prob, but it's not the same story with multiplayer. But anyway you should not use the controller because it is indeed epic failure.

There's no way to improve the controls, sorry. You're much better off using a mouse and keyboard.

Yeah.

In SP your acually still sticking but moving VERY slow so you dont notice it really.
In Mp you cant control your speed. Its run or dont. Thats why it happens in MP

And the reason all this happens is because there is no dead zone adjustment in the joystick control panel.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

Controllers for Halo 2 Vista are a bad excuse for aimbot.

Meh...

Worse than merely having a controller with sticky-aim to play Halo 2 with are the people who claim to have skill while using one and winning. When you've got an unfair advantage, you cannot claim to have skill unless every player has the same advantage. There's a reason that First-Person Shooters were invented on the PC, the mouse is so precise that there is no need for a psuedo-aimbot to hit your mark.

Spammers = Epic Fail.

I had problems with 360, like moving left all the time, or it just didn't work. I'd buy an actaul PC one.
