Agreed. The ESRB rating is most likely there just to inform parents that the content of the site includes discussion of (and screenshots, and media, etc.) a video game that is rated "M."
There won't be any lawsuits with or without the "M" sticker in the lower-right corner (as the ESRB ratings are entirely voluntary and not mandated by law -- not even in New York yet -- and laws attempting to make such regulations are consistently found unconsitutitional), but having the "M" marker on the site is definitely good for public relations and business ethics.

Well it would just seem to make more sense (to me, anyway) if they'd put it in the header of the Halo Forums. You know, just a little disclaimer (Halo [x] has been rated M for Mature (17+ only) by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB), rather than having it in all the forums. Why would that make more sense? It is just as easy to place it in the tagline at the bottom of every page you see on the site, especially considering that some level of Halo discussion is likely to take place on almost every single area of this site at some point. Even in the Flood, Community, and Underground forums. And definitely in groups as well.
