I don't know if this is the place to post a bug report, but it seemed the more fit to do so.
I normally wouldn't report a bug if I didn't think it was rather important, which means this one I care for.
Some bg: My live account is set to renew by Dec 15th, so, I decided to buy a new kit to extend my current account.
After doing that, all worked perfect, except that the Xbox Live Service sends you a message, which every LIVE game takes as important. I load Halo 2 after doing such action, try to login, get the "You have an important message from Xbox Live Service" prompt, it has 2 options, "Go to Account management" or "Continue Offline"
Selecting the first option should take you to the place in which you can read the message, but this never happens with Halo 2. My guess is that it's sending the wrong parameters to the Xbox Dashboard, so, it goes to a different area. If you load the game again, it still gives the "You have a message..." prompt.

This all ends in an "infinite loop" which can be frustrating if you don't know what to do or don't have a different game to read the message (I used Rainbow Six 3 to read the message and log onto Halo 2 afterwards)

I hope this explains the error, if more info is needed, I'll be glad to provide it.

1) Don't bump.
2) Call Microsoft.
