well, depending on what kind of parents you have. Most of them are doing it for your own good. What theres people on here whining about only being able to play for 2 hours? WOW when i played it was barely that, and then i realized, one halo 2's gonna be obsolete very very soon, and 2 i can find better things to fill up my day than play a stupid game. I must admit i was a WoW addict for a while, made it to lvl 61, but then i told myself im gonna quit, and i did, kids at school were saying, you cant do it, and you'll be back on in a week. Scary thing is this "addiction" is a very close thing to real addictions in life, if your so easily addicted to playing a game, that you spend years and years getting good, you'll look back and think, "wow, how many times did i tell my friends i couldnt hang out, cause i was playing" or "wow how many times could i have been hanging out with friends, particularly girls, and meeting new people, getting into trouble" things like that. Considering that your 14, you still have time to break this addiction, but if you dont, later down the road you'll be a prime target for other addictions such as tobacco products. Another thing id like to add, is that when i was playing, my school work dramatically dropped, and i started getting bad grades, because i was more focused on playing the game, than finishing my homework. Now it has cost me, yea id love to just plug in and say -blam!- homework, im gonna play... But theres a requirment that you must have, a GPA to get into the college im going to. So either pay attention in school, and save the xbox or any other video games for the weekends, and do all homework during the week... Or get through life mediocere... Your choice, and i, being 17 now understand why my parents said, no xbox during school, sure in a year ill be outta here, make my own rules, drink anytime i want, come home wasted when ever, hang out till 4... But thats still time that i must wait...So untill then kid, id say tough it out.. and when your 18th birthday rolls around, you can say "-blam!- you guys, im doing what i want with my life"...and it seems that you want to do halo, so go right ahead....
Dam, sorry for all the people that are gonna look at this, pretty much made a wall of text... Hope i got my point across
