Firstly let Me make this clear. I was looking forward to halo2 as much as everyone else. I still believe halo is most likely the best first person shooter made- and I can easily say the best co-op game I have ever played. I have actually never finished halo playing by myself and got the most enjoying finishing it with a friend, so we both looked forward to playing the co-op halo2. Well after all the wait we finally get a copy. It's at this point my dislike and utter dissapointment began. Why is this so hard to understand. If you do a sequal, all you need to do, is work on the same principle that made the first so great- add more weapons- more levels- and lots more things to kill. Instead I get this dual story wannabe movie that went no where. The ending is the worse I've come across. You think that would make Me want to wait til halo3? After all the hype and disapointment excuse Me but Fu** that. You made the game shorter and rushed. Halo took alot longer to finish and you actually enjoyed it. We got to the end of halo2 and we both sat there thinking.....that's it? I honestly though I had 3-4 more hrs of playing left but instead all we were left with is a bad taste in the mouth. Any of you that are saying halo2 is the best game made are full of sh**. Halo was a much better and enjoyable game than halo2. I disliked the game so much I signed up to your website to post this crap on a forum board. I will most likely get flammed for but it's the truth. Fu** you bungie.

yo i so agree with u about the ending..but i do believe that the game itself is very good.
they definitely could have made it better but i heard there was not enough room on the xbox....(not a hundred % sure) but halo 3 will be soooo much better........i hope

My ending was fine. I loved how you get to land on Earth and command squads of ODST's against the Covenant invasion forces. Plus, the other SPARTANS were really sweet.*

*lies, all lies.

They really don't care what we think now, they have already made their money.

And because of the way they left the game (horribly), people will still buy Halo 3 (and a Xbox2) in hopes that it was the Halo 2 they never got.

Don't blame Bungie though, blame Microsoft.

I agree, but you could have done away with that last little comment.

The ending, though, isn't even what bothered me. It's just that it felt more 'distant'. I don't know how to describe it. Plus, the second half of the campaign was extremely boring and very dumb. The only reason I continued playing was because I wanted to know the ending, and towards the end I started not caring even about that.

I have to admit, I do like the level 'Delta Halo' and the one after it. But that's about it.

Oh, but the multiplayer is fantastic.

EDIT: To the person who posted about there "not being enough room on the XBox": That isn't true, and even if it was, I would have settled with a campaign that had only five levels, as long as those five levels were anywhere as good as that E3 2003 demo.

EDIT 2: To the person under me: 90% is way off. Yes, they spent alot of time on multiplayer, but I believe they actually spent more time on the campaign, which is what I loved most about Halo anyway. If the campaign was great, I would have settled for no multiplayer at all.

Actually, it was quite the opposite.
