With Halo 3 up and coming I was just wondering for those who have played Halo 2 and Halo 3 beta especially. Which aiming system do you like the best for console? I think I'm going to go trite on this one and say Halo CE hands down. The auto aim is just perfect for every gun and it perfectly balances skill with the difficulty of reticle movement on a controller. In Halo 2 it seems more like the hit-boxes than the assist aim itself doing the work which just seems so fake- it just doesn't feel like I'm shooting an enemy in Halo 2.. In Halo 1 it's as if I feel every shot I land. And in Halo 3 I think Bungie took all the Halo 2 auto aim/hitbox criticism and changed the firing system into even less auto-aim than in Halo 1 but changed many other aspects that indirectly affect your firing. It's very hard to explain but I just don't get the satisfaction of aiming in do in the sequels as I do in the original. Halo 2 and 3 feel as if I'm firing at a friendly player in Halo 1 which technically is less auto-aim but that isn't necessarily a good thing especially on console. What it really boils down to is that the addition of less auto-aim seems to take away from the pace of the game. Actually come to think of it, I have a very biased opinion; Halo 2 and 3 (will) suck.

Say what you want.

1.Arkham Asylum, 2.Mass Effect, 3.Halo CE, 4.Mass Effect 2, 5.Halo 2, 6.Splinter Cell Double Agent, 7.Gears of War 2, 8.Medievil, 9.Oblivion, 10.Crash Team Racing

Hahahahahahaha. Why you are here if you think Halo3 will suck, why waste time here to this; play Halo1, write real topics about Halo1 or do something else. Its really stupid to say 1>2>3, If Halo1 was better than Halo2, Halo3 can be better than either and will likely be.

Halo:CE aiming and controls are certainly best of FPS for now, plus very high if not top in all games list for now. But Halo1 multiplayer aiming feels somehow random, sometimes huge autoaim, sometimes none. Halo2 is slightly worse althought i cant say any clear reasons why.

Halo1: Many amazing new things with few fails
Halo2: Many amazing new things, some good and some bad old things and many fails
Halo3:?, I wouldnt say anything about it. Can be filled with amazing and good, or with fails.
