Wouldn't it be cool if there were patches which would maybe fix maps or add new things like weapons, armor colors, and other misc. stuff
that way the game always stays new

There's bound to be.

I'm for patches if it is a major fix that they missed. But I am against a company releasing a crapy game (gearbox) and updating it with patches just so it can get it out the door (i'm still waiting gearbox)

Well, patches like that would be large, and, at worst, requiring a whole new set of testing to see if it will work, and then for bugs. Bungie will probably stick with their normal patches for adding maps, changing stats, bugs...

I think at least a few patches are like, natural for online games. Of course, Bungie is different, they are flawless. But i think theres always at least one patch for online games.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Patches for new maps and bug fixes would be good.

I don't know if you guys have played live before, but downloadable content and patches are standard for an xbox live game. They don't take long to download, even if they do you are excited to get them because they are adding to the game. So I'm almost certain they will have fixes and addons for halo 2.
