Subject: Why do I bother to even enter matchmaking anymore..

First Game: BTB. CTF Classic on Coagulation. Pretty fun gametype, pretty fun BTB map. Is the match fun? Well, upon asking my teammate who took it upon himself to drive off in the hog as I'm running toward him with the flag just to be gunned down as he rides off unscathed, I must say it was not. Back at the ol red base he returns in his hog just to get out and blow it up with grenades, then proceeds to do the same to the other vehicles.

-Bad luck. Lets try again.-
Second Game: Anoter BTB. Single Flag on Zanzibar. Once again, a fun pairing of gametype and map. But what do we get? A super-jumper that perches himself on top of the base the entire match with a sniper rifle. Can we kill him? When he can walk backwards a few steps out of line of sight, I think not.

-Fair Enough. One more try.-
Last Game: BTB. Team Slayer on Gemini. Alright, cool BTB slayer on a small map. Mayhem shall ensue and all that good stuff. Well, yes, but not really. First off, 3 people on the opposing team quit, so now it's 8 of us against 5 of them. Now the game is unbalanced and frankly, not that fun at all.

-Conclusion-
This adds to my list of reasons people in the online gaming community are, overall, stupid. I have my fingers crossed this will not happen with Halo 3, but as I've come to realize, if there are people playing, it will be that much worse of an experience.

If there's anyone out there that feels like doing some legitimate (meaning no assclowns or egotistic idiots) matchmaking, send a message to Spitznock . Until then, continue the de-evolution, for you are making wonderful progress.

Fair evaluation but it doesn't just happen in halo...................just the nature of online gaming with strangers. Find a team, join matchmaking together, don't give up on halo because of a few idiots.

The problem is quite simple if you haven't noticed... YOur PLaying in an Unranked game! Meaning people don't give a crap about quitting or not.

I can only suggest that you try to get on top of the wheel (without superjumping) when this happens. You can also get ontop of the roof by team jumping off the windows next to the base.

There are really only three or four gametypes that if you play, you have a really good chance of ACTUALLY playing the game. Team Slayer,Double Team,Team Hardcore, and Team Snipers. Other than those, every other game has too many people not playing right or being -blam!-.

.

So bounce on top of the wheel and kill him. Its not hard to do and you can get on top of the wheel without the guy on the top seeing you. and when on top, you can hide from his sight and pop up at random to kill him.

You post conclusions about matchmaking from BTB which is known to be full of noobs and little screaming kids. Way to be

Thanks for the response guys, and as I said, if you ever want to play some matchmaking (ranked or unranked) send me a message.

-*sig under construction*-
Achievements are like...

That's BTB for you. Although, usually, 3-4 people quit per game. I'm surprised that people only quit during one of your games.

Greatest of all time

BTB is definitely not the place to evaluate MM in general.
