Facts:
Button Glitches are cheating.
They give you an upper hand
They arent meant to be in the game
Not everyone can do them

Wall glitching is a lot more unfair than button glitches, yet I don't see how standing in a certain spot on a map could possibly be cheating....

Button glitches really aren't unfair at all, IDK why Bungie keeps insisting they are.

There was a man from Allentown who fed his son to death.
He calmly watched him gorge himself until his final breath.
And there he stood, surprised and shocked above his tiny frame.
He said: "I bear no blame for this. I only share his name!"

No. Die alone please. Bungie didn't want those in there for a reason, and they are alot better at making video games than you.

Wait, then how did they get there?

I don't want to die...
Besides, if you take it out it wont be as fun...
It's like taking SSBM & removing the ability to wavedash...

They rushed the game. It was a mistake. I never said they were perfect.

I like to Rollick

Why would bungie support something that is a glitch in their game?

It hurts gameplay, and it only addsdepth if your playing a pared down version of the game ie mlg.

"The few people who are unable to do them"

lol let me guess you only play with mlg people.

Most people who complain about button glitches are that of the lower skill level. Most people who don't care about button glitches and use them are generally better than those who complain about them. If you disagree I can show you in a custom game the differences when I use button glitches and when I don't.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

They were not intended to be out into the game. The prominent ones were a result of a patch that increased the damage that a melee would do. Prior to the 1.1 update, one melee would not take down another player's shields, so there would be no real use for BXR. The double-shot was already there, but no one seemed to know about it. Or at least no one seemed to care enough to use it. Regardless, they are in fact a bug, so they violate the ToU. Even if Bungie decided that they were "fair" to use, its still a bug, which makes them cheating in M$' eyes. There are ways that they could get around that (I'd imagine a call to Major Nelson or Bill Gates would do it), but now I'm rambling.

Perhaps Bungie thinks that button glitches throw off the balance that they tried to create for the game. Perhaps Bungie thinks that button glitches incorporate something from a different genre of games, and they don't like the idea. I could go on all day hypothesizing about more or less anything. This is a good and noble effort OP, and you've pulled it off nicely (more or less) thus far. It still violates our rules though, so I'm going to lock it.

I suggest you take it to a group forum. Perhaps you should make a group dedicated totally to this hypothesis. Your call.
