The End

‘The conscious is cancerous if allowed to linger’

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."

I have thought about this for a long time and wondered why it is yet to be implemented. Why when we add hyperlinks to news stories is there an option for custom CSS when if it is implemented it displays an invalid HTML?

Let me explain better. Make a new news story, select the body or summary box and the toolbar appears. Select hyperlink and look at the bottom for an option for custom CSS. Select one for example Halo2header and a picture of the Halo 2 header appears along with the hyperlink. Cool... submit... invalid HTML. Hmmmm, so what is the point and why is something implemented not allowed. Please can somebpdy shed light on this.

I was also wondering why images cannot be used in news stories to make our stories have the same presentation and feel as the bungie.net top stories and so we can add our own mister chiefs, we all want too ;-)

I think the use of these are feared by the overloard. Kids would abuse these and the images cannot be modderated like text can. Also storage is another issue. But I really cannot tell you the truth cause I'm only a member, like yourself.

I was thinking that they be used for news stories because that is their current location. For some reason they can be inserted but then are removed as invalid HTML's when the news stories are submitted.

They should not be allowed anywhere else because it would be chaos.
