I was just wondering if anyone else is worried about the experience of playing Halo 2 over Live. I have little doubt that Halo 2 is going to be a great game, but I've played other games on Live and the result was not pleasant. Immature, disrespectful players (armed with the headset) turned me off big time. When it's out, I want to be able to play it with people who are competitive, yet tactful. I'm not sure if that's what I'm going to get on Live. I realize there's always going to be a handful of bad apples, but from what I've seen in regards to Live, the barrel is full with them. Is anyone else worried about this?

there is a way to mute people... either mute them seperately, or push the little black button on the communicator box that plugs into your controller. that''ll shut 'em up! (although mine doesn't work, so i have to resort to muting people one by one whenever they piss me off)

That's true. I suppose it's either get familiar with the mute button or join up with a clan of fellow minded players.

That little black button mutes your voice, not them. You press it and when it is red you can yell at your brother or something and no one on live will hear you.

XBL has a lot of idiots, but do not let that turn you away from XBL....Yes, about 60% of people on xbl are immature and stupid acting, but just mute them, or find another room to play in. The annoying people on xbl should not be enough to turn you away from the service, build up a friends list of people you like, and mute the retards

thats just because everyone thinks they're the best if people can realize that there are people out there that can kick their azz then we wouldn't have this problem. Its a lot of fun when you can play against people at the same skill level.\

There's always someone better...always

I go around the world leaving a path of destruction in my wake. When I come to a city, grown men cry and women wail. I collect the skulls of my enemies and display them for all to see.........I also kick puppies. For fun.

yeah, as a counter strike player on live, i think that friendly fire could be a problem on live. On CS, some idiots think theyre cool to turn on their teammates right out of spawn, making them the only living teammate at the time. I could also see some one killing his own teammate that is about to return a flag, so they can return the flag themselves and boost their stats.

can i have a link to the website or 7th column chapter please? Thanks. I am looking for a good clan. I am good and a good teamplayer. I am good at sniping,am good with almost all weopons, and I am good a defence. I can fill most other spots if needed but those are my spots of interest. I don't have LIVE yet but will in about a month or two. I think my gamertag will be something like "headnoodle". Thanks.

Excellent point. I guess the best way to deal with that is to not care about stats... But then that would suck...

EDIT- By the way, my gamertag is CrZyPoLaQ, maybe I'll see you in a game of CS sometime
