I Was Playing The Campaign When All Of A Sudden I Had What Looked To Be An Etched In Burn Mark On My TV. You Know; The Kind People Say You'll Get From Playing Too Long On A Projection Tv Without A Screen Saver. To My Suprise Its The Game! Its Also Ruining My Multiplayer Matches Because I Cant See. As Soon As I Turn Off Halo2 It Goes Away Plus It Doesnt Happen The Whole Time Im Playing But Its Getting To Be Frequent. Could This Be Because The 360 Is Emulating H2? What Do You Guys Think? Any Similiar Experiences?

It happens. Nothing you can do to prevent it from happening. Just reset your 360 and POOF it's gone.

Why did you capitalize every word in that paragraph?

And I get that a lot when playing on the 360, it looks kind of like a structure almost, and it covers up like the right side of the screen. It goes away after a restart but it eventually came back again. I dunno...

Join Planet Reach
Hog sniping
Exalted is considered "the highest" because you can't get any bans or warnings of any kind for quite a long time, which is harder than just being a member for a long time.

You know... it happened to me on Containment during MM last night...

It's never happened during MM before (because they took out Backwash) - it usually only happens during campaign

I've never had a burn problem with Halo 2. What causes it?

It happens often with the wires in Old Mombassa or the council chamber on High Charity. Passing through checkpoints or loads seems to dim the "burns" momentarily.

I've been playing H2 on the 360 for a long time (since launch I think), but never got this "burn-in" glitch until one of the more recent updates.- the ones around the time of the last map pack. Anyone else notice this?

ive been playing on and off pretty often since the 360 came out and never had this problem. Although I do keep my original xbox around since ive heard this from a few people. I wonder why some people get it and some don't. Will this only happen on a tv? I'm using a VGA connector to a lcd comp screen.
