i dont get it. i have verizion FIOS, supposed to be the fastest crap ever. i share internet with 3 computers and an xbox 360. ok lets see in halo 2 half the time my snipe shots to the head dont count, i always melee through people, my grenades explode on people and it will still take a full clip of SMG on people to kill them. i have shot about 9 shots into some people with BR in the head and they kill me somehow. on halo PC i get about an average of 400 FPS without v sync on my 1440x900 screen full settings. i see people teleporting in halo PC. that makes a whole lot of sense lol so it looks like people are standbying me like all the time no mater what.

There have been several threads with additional comments from players experiencing the same as you over the past weeks. The link you provided only gives upload/download results, and you have way more than you need to play the game. What's more important to you is the possibility of latency in your connection, although with a high quality connection such as yours it's probably not a factor. Go here and test it several times. If your Round Trip Time is much over 90ms, or your Max Pause over 150ms, you'll experience the problems you noted. Be advised you may have to wait a few seconds for the Java script to load the first time you do the test.

re: DOA's points about testing your connection against various places around the country, you can do that easily here. Only upload/download, and doesn't address latency.

My company designs software to test highspeed and phonelines.

If you live in NYC that's a great test, but select something across the US. If you drop around 7-10, then you have big problems with the nodes after your signal leaves NYC. *In that case, there is nothing you can do about that*

Having that big of a change means your internet stability is rather weak. That's why you don't see a problem on the PC, because if has time to keep reping over and over again. Xboxes aren't build to do that because their lack of computer power. You could have the fastest connection, but if your signal strength is weak, there is nothing LIVE can do for you.

I only run 5.0MB/ps DOWN and 575KB/ps UP, and I'll host or have a portion of host more then half my games. My strength between the cloests node STL to the farther US node LAX is only +/- 100KB/ps.. Just under 2%, which is amazingly low, also helps I live in the middle of the US.

I live in Falls church VA about 10 miles from DC. NY is a good ways away so thats not even near me

Upload/download has nothing to do with latency. Did you check RTT and Max Pause at InternetFrog several times?
