Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

I know that it says on activation, that my code will be locked onto my machine setup. Fair enough.

Have any of you installed it a great number of times? I'll let you know the method i've been using to play it recently. I just got XP, installed that, then used my copy of Vista Home Upgrade to get that to Vista. But i already had an activated machine using that copy, so i have to use it for the 30 days, then uninstall. However, now i wonder, on a fourth and final install (using the key on the same PC the whole time) is it likely to cause issue? In fact, if i keep it to that rig, will it ever cause issue? I have a copy of Vista i got cheap off a friend on that machine now, permanently, so this will be the last time i need to probably for ages. Will i get a reject or something? I haven't got a clue, i've been trying to find out for ages.

Can anyone fill me in on this. And please make sure you know your stuff. I've heard silly things like "install it once and it won't install again with that key" which blatently isn't true, as i've proved by re-activating it 3 times on my setup.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I've installed the game more than 10 times. 3's not a hard limit as far as I can tell.

I installed the game more than 10 times on the same pc and now i am locked out of connecting to windows live. The game still activates but cannot connect to Live. It's the dumbest thing ever since I always play with the same gamertag. Now I cannot play the game online anymore without getting a new copy.

Man, if there was ever a game worth boycotting, this would be the one.

Except there aren't enough people who bought the damn game to begin with to even consider a boycott that would seriously deter Microsoft's sales to an already mediocre and unpopular game on the PC.
