personally i always have my aimer right where an enemy head is most likely to appear. done right, this will usually give you a small first shot advantage. once you have that, relax, dont jump, and dont move your thumbstick around too crazy.
however, assuming you dont have first shot, just be unpredictable. i always juke left right left right, then keep left, maybe with a jump at the end. also, if you have some nearby cover, just peek behind it for a split second so your opponent loses the auto aim.

Thanks fellas,

It kinda bums me out to learn that people have been glitching me to death (literally). I did hear that there was such a thing, but I figured Xbox fixed it by the time I finally bought Halo 2 last xmas. I see that Bungie forces updates and new maps in order to play online, so it wasn't exactly crazy for me to think that glitches were fixed? I think my brother has been holding out on me! >: ( Flucker!

I was wondering why I was so much better in the Halo 3 Beta. Shinto!

Also, thanks for the tips. I guess I'm going to have to try the team sniper game, and better prepare my shots ahead of time.

Thanks again!

Clawing doesn't help your aim unless you are double shooting. It allows you to control your body movements and your aim at the same time, it doesn't improve your aim.

True. I wish they just made a controller with the right-thumbstick under the RT, so you can aim and controle all buttons at the same time.
