Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

What is this? A trick question? Of course it's hot. Klingon: nuq Qeh qoH.

Don't even get me started... Too late.

Klingon:

Hov leng tIn 'e' qAs yaD yeiviSion. nuqDaq yuch Dapol! bllughbe'. boch glchraj.

Star Trek is cool, but learning kilingon?? DORK!

I used to hate that crap. Walking around a comic book/sci-fi convention, I'm 12 or 13 years old, and some 30 year old with 5 pounds of putty on his face started taking to me in Klingon...

It was pathetic.

Not really, but you get the point.

I used to be a fan of it, but in retrospect I think they were pushing it when they made anything beyond Next Generation.

So I voted 'not'. It was hot, but I see Star Trek now as a long dead horse.

Well, Star Trek is important to me because I used to watch Next Gen. as a kid and now i'm pursuing Aerospace Engineering as a career. It's influenced my life so much. All the morals and lessons it teaches. And it's all subtle. They don't just go out and say " Racism is bad. " That's what I liked about the original series. Back in the 60's if a show tried to talk about racism or nuclear war, it was automatically shot down. But Gene Roddenberry (the late creator of Trek - god rest his soul) outsmarted them by doing it all subtley (sp?). Remember that episode with the two dudes painted black and white? Uh huh... But, what do I know? After all it's just a show....

One word:

Enterprise

I really like that show. That would also imply I am not a Trekkie :-)

I suppose its hot if only for the reason the originals played a big part in what was to come after it

Star Trek is great. DS9 and TNG are my favourites I'd say, although all of the series are cool. I have to agree with MC's bro about the subtle moral lessons and stuff- Star Trek was one of the first shows to promote equality and diplomacy over war. Brilliant....

I liked it but as it progressed and more series came I kind of lost track and found it too confusing. It was good entertainment even though it really wasn't my cup of tea.

Sorry about that. Damn, they blam it out because they think it is the racial group. Also, to Same G, you watch Dragon Ball Z so you have no right to talk about good and bad shows.

Star trek was the best show on tv, but it was getting slightly teired ny Voyager, and Enterprise is gash. Its not even proper star trek. The Original and DS9 (later series) were the best, closely followed by The next generation. Didnt think much of voyager myself, but i did watch it.

Thing about moral lessons is true, but if you see the early TNG episodes it is about a subtle as getting beaten around the head with a plank. Ypu could always tell "ah this is the anti drugs episode, or the anit whatever episode, and it was done so cheesily, but i guess it was the eighties. Also they cannot pull off humor at all. Any attempt to pull off a joke fails totally, so the only real way humor works in Star trek is through putting them in rediculous situations, or over the top acting (the original series anyone? That is really funny to watch now. Wasnt so funny when i was 5 but now).

I have to say i always thought the whole learning Kilingon stuff was a bit sad. All you need to do is watch the show and enjoy. But i guess everyone has their thing they get into way too far, be it sports, cars, work, or drugs.

This is almost as bad as when in Star Trek 5 Captain Kirk was betrayed by Mr. Spock!!
J/K! I used to watch it all the time, mainly cause of my dad.(he always watched it, he's a huge sc-fi fan) I liked Mr. Worf and Mr. Spock. They were the best. Data was ok. The Borgs were the best enemies the enterprises' crew ever encountered. It was a big thing, but not so much anymore. It had its 15 minutes.

I thought one of the more scary enemies where in the Silent Enemy episode from Enterprise. Even the way they moved was scary. I'm not a Star Trek buff though, and haven't seen all the shows. Enterprise is the only one I'm really following. I have to wait for a while though, before I can see season 4 here in the Netherlands.

I really like Enterprise up until this new season. I totally lost track of what's going on. TI don't like having to watch every episode like a religion.

Does anyone know what spock's full name is?

Nah, I used to watch it as a little girl and there was nothing else on... but I really don't like it anymore.
